• Plan for postsecondary options • Apply academic achievement strategies • Manage emotions and apply interpersonal skills • Focus students and families on college and career readiness • Meet quarterly with all students on caseload to review graduation plan and post-secondary options • Deliver classroom instruction based on student success standards • Review transcripts and other academic documentation for new and returning students • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop a four (4) year graduation plan • Assist students in course placement including recommendations on Advanced Placement (AP) • Analyze student data and develop data-driven programs for intervention action plans • Provide short-term counseling to students and referrals for long-term support • Support standardized testing program, parent education, and staff development

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three (3) years of experience in counseling and/or advisement
  • School Counselor License
  • Ability to clear required background check
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Web-based search engines, and database systems

As an accredited and certified network counselor trained in financial matters, you will provide personal and family financial readiness counseling and proactive lifecycle financial education that provide military service members and families with the tools and information they need to develop individual strategies to meet financial goals and achieve financial readiness. Financial readiness counseling services may be provided individually, to couples, and to families. Remote Shifts (Must live in Denver metropolitan area): 30-32 hrs per week, three 10s or four 8s with a 1 weekend day commitment. Shift start window would be 1000-1400. Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs telephone triage under conditions that may be demanding, stressful and repetitious. Functions independently to collect data and make assessments, develop a working diagnosis, determine interventions and disposition per guidelines. Guides evaluation including instructing patient/caller how to evaluate normal/abnormal symptoms, effectiveness of treatment and when to call back. Documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice and patient/caller response.
