Cost Analyst – Mid-level

• Ensure that direct and indirect production costs are properly allocated to inventory by monitoring production postings and developing reports and KPIs that help the responsible areas implement corrective and/or mitigating actions for errors. • Identify and investigate variances between planned and actual costs, justify the differences, and suggest corrective measures when necessary. • Determine provisions related to inventory in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. • Support the physical inventory process and record any adjustments identified. • Ensure compliance with the accounting close schedule through processes and metrics that help the company’s various departments understand the impact of their activities on the close process and the deadlines to be met. • Support the decision-making process of other departments by clarifying the financial impacts of presented scenarios and providing appropriate financial information. • Reconcile accounting balances, identifying and correcting discrepancies or accounting errors. • Analyze account variances and provide explanations for identified trends. • Propose and implement improvements and automations in processes relevant to the area, seeking higher quality and efficiency. • Contribute to internal and external audit processes by providing the requested information and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields;
- Knowledge of SAP, especially CO and FI modules;
- Experience in Cost Accounting;
- Good accounting fundamentals;
- Experience with monthly financial close;
- Experience with process improvements and automation in the area.

- Strong interaction skills with partner departments;
- Ability to identify and analyze deviations;
