Audit Project Manager

Rentokil Pest Control

Role Description Audit Project Manager responsible for performing audits of Rentokil North America and Mexico/South America branch locations. Key responsibilities include: - Designing, monitoring, and managing internal audit projects from initiation through completion. - Performing audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures. - Communicating or assisting in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations. - Managing projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. - Conducting independent analysis, commentary, and recommendations for fraud and ethics-related investigations. - Providing training, coaching, and guidance to less-senior staff in executing assigned projects. - Reporting to audit management based in the US (ultimately reports to the Director of Internal Audit and Risk, UK based). - Developing a trusting working relationship with the business unit and other senior leaders, group wide. - Overseeing audit software and data analysis collection tools and initiatives. - Work will be performed remotely at home office. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or closely related field. - 5 years of senior audit experience in an international environment. Requirements - Experience in accounting, business analysis, and program evaluation. - Knowledge of Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). - Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), management principles, and best business practices. - Fraud investigation experience, including performing research and interviewing personnel regarding potential fraud. - Experience testing IT general controls. - Proficiency in spreadsheet, data visualization, and TeamMate audit software. - Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety technical standards and regulations in the pest control industry, including experience auditing compliance with fumigation service-related regulations. - Fluency in Spanish. - Willingness to travel internationally 10-20% of the time. - Remote work is an option.
