Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Freelance Croatian Language Lead to join our localization team. In this role, you will oversee Croatian language projects, ensuring linguistic quality and consistency across various content types. - Language: Croatian - Employment type: Freelance - Experience: Experience with Technical and Marketing content is a must. - Tool: WordsOnline (WordsOnline | Acclaro) Responsibilities - Check daily generated QA reports in WOL to identify errors per linguist - Run live checks in WOL to monitor linguists’ performance while they work - Conduct monthly quality review calls (or ad hoc reviews depending on volume) with the Production and Quality teams based on KPIs - Warn linguists and recommend blocking, removing, or adding linguists based on performance, in coordination with the Production team - Answer linguistic queries - Support new customer onboarding - Train new linguists - Conduct calls with linguists regarding specific issues - Support improvements to linguistic instructions and reference materials - Manage terminology and glossaries - Prepare reports and performance analyses Qualifications - At least 5 years of experience in Translation/Localization - Proven experience in localization project management or language lead roles - Native speaker of Croatian - Strong understanding of localization best practices and tools - Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment - Freelance availability with flexibility to manage projects and meet deadlines
