Inside Sales Associate

• Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through IQSIGHT product portfolio sales. • Introduce, market, quote and sell IQSIGHT video products through outbound and inbound calls. • Proactively prospect territory for newly developed business relationships and opportunities. • Conduct specific sales/product campaigns to win back inactive accounts. • Identify decision makers among the targeted leads to initiate sales process. • Determine prospect needs and requirements and suggest appropriate solutions. • Influence prospects to purchase, utilize or retain products and/or services. • Provide error-free written product and price quotations (Request for Quote – RFQ) to internal and external customers. • Work with the Director of Sales to implement action plans.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Business or technical discipline preferred.
  • 3 years of pre-sales, customer service or inside sales experience, preferably selling technology products.
  • Working knowledge of Security Systems products, in particular video products and systems, is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills are necessary.
  • Professional telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in an efficient, professional manner.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for understanding the applicable technology and be comfortable with continuous learning.
  • Ability to support a team approach to satisfy sales goals and to assure 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Multiple language capability is desirable.

Role Description Inside Sales Specialist supports Jeld Wen’s commitment to providing world-class service ensuring customer orders and quotes are handled in an efficient, timely, and professional manner. The Inside Sales Specialist is expected to consistently demonstrate a high level of accuracy and report/escalate issues that may impede order fulfillment. This is a fully remote position that can be worked anywhere in the U.S.; however, candidates must be agreeable and available to working hours of 8 - 4 p.m. CST. This position role offers base pay + commission. Principle Duties and Responsibilities - Maintain a thorough understanding of the JELD-WEN customer(s) and their needs. - Professionally resolve and/or manage customer situations with a goal of first contact resolution. - Identify and determine the best solution by problem-solving, and perform research by interfacing with manufacturing, operations, product management, logistics, and sales to provide the highest level of service. - Process Orders, Quotes and provide any revisions as needed per departmental guidelines. - Address customer questions or issues that come into the sales team by providing courteous and prompt responses. - Audit Orders/Quotes as needed. - Escalate non-routine issues and report to department leadership any areas that do not meet service expectations. - Update management on customer developments/issues. - Communicate and coordinate with peers, internal partners and management as necessary. - Use appropriate data systems to follow up with contacts. - Interface with the proper team to bring resolution to customer issues (Operations, Sales, or Marketing). - Support the sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations which can affect product revenue(s). - Continuously grow knowledge through JW-supported tools to further understanding of JW products, operations, websites, and literature to add value to and assist customers. - Communicate product details and specifications. - Resolve/Escalate Catalog Issues or pricing issues. - Assist department leadership with departmental process improvements. - Other duties as assigned.
