JOB ID: 3024116 Position: Distribution Systems Engineer (Telecom Technician) Number of Openings: 10-20+ Location: 100% REMOTE Duration: 6+ Month Contract, possible extension We're expanding our Network Design team and looking for Network Infrastructure Designers to support large-scale technical refresh efforts across multiple U.S. military bases. This is a back-office, design-focused role responsible for translating field survey data into accurate, production-ready network, fiber, and power drawings. This role is ideal for designers who enjoy documentation, accuracy, and working behind the scenes to support enterprise-scale infrastructure programs. What You'll Do - Create and maintain network architecture diagrams and network layouts using Visio and CAD - Develop drawings for: - As-built and future-state network designs - Fiber, OSP, and pathway layouts - Power systems, UPS, and electrical infrastructure - Update and proof drawings based on: - Power, fiber, and infrastructure surveys - Wi‑Fi and network assessments - Document network infrastructure across multiple Air Force bases (any location with network switches or equipment) - Consolidate survey and design data into Technical Refresh documentation - Support engineering and implementation teams with accurate, validated designs What We're Looking For - Experience with Visio and/or CAD for network or infrastructure design - Ability to translate technical survey data into clear, accurate drawings - Background in one or more of the following areas: - Network infrastructure or switching - Fiber and OSP design - Power systems / UPS - Wi‑Fi or RF-related infrastructure - Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a documentation-heavy role You do not need to be an expert in everything.
