Staff/Senior Engineer, Backend-Focused, Greenfield Agentic Project

• Embed with engineering teams across Reap to build and integrate agentic payment capabilities into their systems • Own agentic features end-to-end across team boundaries: design the flow, build it where it needs to live, and operate it in production • Build backend services in Node.js / TypeScript (NestJS or Elysia) for high-performance APIs and async jobs • Work with AWS cloud-native services (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, Aurora, S3, CloudWatch) for scalable, resilient architectures • Turn the agentic payments roadmap into shipped infrastructure • Collaborate directly with product, founders, and the host team's engineers • Leverage AI tools and modern development practices to move fast across multiple systems
• Own and maintain the Group Financial Crime Compliance framework, policies and standards. • Lead enterprise-wide AML/CFT risk assessments across all jurisdictions. • Define financial crime risk appetite, governance standards and oversight mechanisms. • Drive FCC maturity, audit readiness and remediation programmes. • Oversee higher-risk client and transaction reviews. • Provide guidance on sanctions, PEP, adverse media and financial crime escalations. • Govern transaction monitoring, sanctions screening and ongoing due diligence frameworks. • Review complex investigations and oversee SAR/STR decision-making. • Own transaction monitoring governance, typology development and detection optimisation. • Identify emerging financial crime risks and recommend enhancements to controls and detection capabilities. • Provide oversight of financial crime requirements across sponsor programmes. • Act as a key point of contact for regulators, auditors and external stakeholders on financial crime matters. • Build organisational capability through training, awareness and continuous development.
• Conduct pre-publication review of TPA and client marketing materials against scheme brand standards and programme rules. • Run periodic post-publication sweeps across digital and physical marketing channels to identify unapproved, outdated, or non-compliant materials, and log findings for remediation tracking. • Maintain the live TPA and PIF registries, including tracking submission statuses, modifications, renewal dates, and ongoing requirements set by the schemes. • Monitor TPA and PIF submission statuses in the registry and follow up on outstanding items with internal stakeholders and, where directed, with the schemes. • Triage incoming scheme queries and flagged cases (e.g. marketing flags, registry discrepancies), drafting responses and action plans. • Support periodic and annual client reviews: compile client data packs, run first-pass checks against the client review checklist, and draft review summaries with recommended actions. • Maintain Reap's scheme compliance tracker and document management discipline across marketing, TPA, and PIF records — version control, retention, and audit-readiness. • Monitor Visa Business News (and other scheme bulletins) for new releases, logging items and flagging those with potential operational impact for compliance officer assessment. • Work closely with the global Scheme Compliance team to improve processes, share learnings, and collaborate on ways of working across jurisdictions.

Analyst, Financial Crime Operation – LATAM Focus, Spanish Speaker

• own onboarding flows, improve KYB/KYC docs, reduce cycle times, and collaborate with Compliance, Product, and Tech to scale • document, systematise, and progressively automate processes • work closely with the Product and Tech teams to design workflows • Conduct checklist-based reviews of documentation submitted by clients during onboarding, verifying completeness and consistency against internal requirements • Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent documentation and issue Requests for Information (RFIs) to clients to obtain outstanding items • Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of documentation received, RFIs issued, and case status throughout the onboarding workflow • Own and drive end-to-end onboarding operational flows, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to reduce onboarding cycle times • Track case progress across the pipeline and proactively follow up to keep cases moving without unnecessary delays • Own onboarding speed KPIs and work collaboratively with the Compliance team to drive faster decision turnaround without compromising quality • Document and systematise all onboarding operational processes into clear, repeatable SOPs, built from the ground up to be automation-ready • Identify which parts of the onboarding workflow are candidates for agentic automation and work with the Product and Tech teams to progressively implement these via automation and AI tooling • Drive the transition from manual execution to AI-assisted workflows over time • Prepare and submit Partner Information Forms (PIFs) and supporting documentation required by card schemes for partner onboarding and certification processes • Coordinate third-party reviews required by card schemes and other network partners, managing timelines, documentation packages, and follow-ups to ensure submissions are complete and on schedule
• Own Corporate Cards end-to-end: Take full responsibility for Reap Card as a product, from strategy and discovery through delivery, iteration, and ongoing operational follow-through. • Set direction and prioritise: Build a clear point of view on what the product needs, decide what to do now versus later, and keep the roadmap focused on the things that genuinely matter for customers and the business. • Turn complexity into a clear experience: Work closely with engineering, design, and our infrastructure teams to translate the moving parts behind card issuing and spend into workflows and experiences that feel simple, reliable, and trustworthy for business customers. • Raise the bar on quality and completeness: Look across the full lifecycle of the product, find the gaps and rough edges, and drive steady improvements in reliability, usability, and operational efficiency. • Partner across the organisation: Work fluidly with engineering, design, compliance, operations, finance, and go-to-market teams to ship well and to keep the product healthy as it scales.
