Role Description Georgia Connections Academy (GACA) is seeking qualified and dedicated Temporary Math and ELA Teachers to provide summer school support to students in grades 3-5. The temporary summer school teachers will deliver targeted academic assistance aligned to the Georgia Standards of Excellence, focusing on building student confidence, reinforcing foundational skills, and preparing students for end-of-year success and other key academic benchmarks. These staff members will be temporary staff members; this is not a long-term position. - Provide small-group math and/or ELA sessions in a virtual environment. - Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students’ specific academic needs and grade levels. - Use academic data to guide instruction and monitor progress. - Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and growth. - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and session notes. - Communicate regularly with the Summer Program Lead to align on instructional goals and student progress. - Participate in training sessions and program meetings as scheduled. - Ensure that all tutoring sessions are aligned with GACA’s academic and behavioral expectations. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Mathematics, English Language Arts, or related field (Master’s preferred). - Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate preferred (Math 4-8, Language Arts 4-8, or P-5 Elementary). - Georgia Clearance Certificate. - Experience teaching or tutoring K–12 math or ELA students in a virtual or in-person setting. - Strong knowledge of Georgia Standards of Excellence for Mathematics and/or Language Arts. - Proficient in using virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Pearson Connexus, Nearpod, etc.). - Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated ability to engage students in a remote learning environment. Requirements - Program Duration: Teachers: June 2 - July 17. - Schedule: Monday - Friday (Times to be determined). - Format: Teaching via GACA’s online platform. - Compensation: $40 per hour. - Training: Required before program launch.

• Primary responsibility for generating all training materials (documentation and videos) for consumption by the solution's end users. • Design, develop, and deliver detailed training materials including training coursework, agendas, briefs, white papers, user guides, surveys, feedback etc. • Partner with Business Analysts to understand the customer's business requirements at a fundamental level. • Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute in accordance with approved plans. • Collaborate with functional and technical counterparts and customers in forming strategies to improve performance and overall effectiveness of the change management strategy. • Ensures adherence to best practices, and quality standards and reviews project deliverables for accuracy. • Create a tiered curriculum that will provide training at various levels of complexity (like beginner/infrequent users to advanced/power users)

• Export content from Storyline courses to Synthesia courses • Prepare scripts for Synthesia videos • Generate videos in bulk using templates • Upload, test and deploy finished courses

Role Description The Fielding and Training Technician shall support the issuing and set-up of equipment and training activities for the program. The Fielding and Training Technician shall maintain knowledge of the setup of the hardware and inner workings of the user interface, coordinate fielding and training with the using units, and maintain training statistics. - Provide direct user feedback to the Technical Team Leader and the Project Director. - Provide general logistics support in sustainment. - Provide knowledge of military systems associated with the sustainment of equipment and technical data support. - Participate in the basic concept, design, and testing of the software user interface and advise on how that impacts current, new, or modified equipment and processes used by unit personnel to ensure optimal sustainment support. - Meet with contractors, users, and maintainers, to assist the MAT Team with overall IT equipment support concerns and recommend sustainment plans for creation/update/modification and sustainment of training documentation (publications, videos, and milSuite page, etc.). - Provide review and analysis of equipment-specific data for life cycle management decisions. - Aid in the management of the program for end items, spares, repair parts, and supplies to meet unit and equipment requirements. - Review, validate, analyze, update, and, when necessary, to ensure optimal sustainment support, develop draft procedures for future publications, like Training Plans, Training Videos, Pamphlets, Operations Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, Modification Instructions, Technical, and other Special Instructions. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - High school diploma or GED and 10+ years’ experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years’ experience working with training military personnel, sustaining, and supporting military equipment like aerial delivery, organizational clothing, chemical/biological equipment, weapons, and other soldier-related items. - Background check required with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. - Must have advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), and Outlook. - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. - Ability to travel as required. - Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skills. - Must have good organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skills. - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity. - Ability to interact with co-workers to develop a team environment. - Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
