• Prepare data-driven analyses, identifying opportunities to evolve and improve business processes. • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards. • Develop and maintain KPIs to support business, finance, and actuarial teams. • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, including metrics such as new sales, BP monitoring, asset base, loss ratio, among others. • Monitor strategic indicators to support decision-making and business performance. • Build and maintain T-SQL (queries) processes, focusing on supporting databases and analytical foundations. • Develop and maintain ETL processes from multiple data sources, consolidating data into a centralized repository. • Design and maintain dashboards for monitoring and tracking business-area KPIs. • Support indicator analysis and generate insights to inform decision-making.

Role Description As a Staff BI and Data Analyst within our People & Culture and Finance departments, you will be at the heart of Oviva. You will partner with senior stakeholders—including the Managing Director and Clinical Delivery Directors in Switzerland—to translate complex business priorities into actionable analytics roadmaps. Your work ensures we provide the best possible care to our patients while maintaining operational excellence. Qualifications - At least 6 years of experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence. - Fluency in complex SQL and significant experience with dbt. - Fluent in English; German language skills are a significant advantage for our Swiss partnerships. - Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) and modern BI tools. - Experience with Python and version control (Github/Git) to further scale our data capabilities. • Actively collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate functional requirements into technical specifications, ensuring proper implementation of use cases • Data flow implementation: design and implement new data flows on EDWH or Data Lake to meet specific business requirements, identifying and integrating necessary data sources • Data cleaning and preparation: conduct data preparation and cleaning activities to ensure the quality and reliability of the data used in analyses • Data quality techniques implementation: apply techniques and processes to ensure data integrity and reliability through quality control • Data model creation: develop specific data models for identified use cases, transforming input data into formats suitable for analysis and insight generation • Collaboration with dashboarding experts: work closely with dashboarding and data visualization experts to implement effective dashboards and reporting, presenting results in a clear and engaging manner
