Data Analyst II

Agile Lab

• Actively collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate functional requirements into technical specifications, ensuring proper implementation of use cases • Data flow implementation: design and implement new data flows on EDWH or Data Lake to meet specific business requirements, identifying and integrating necessary data sources • Data cleaning and preparation: conduct data preparation and cleaning activities to ensure the quality and reliability of the data used in analyses • Data quality techniques implementation: apply techniques and processes to ensure data integrity and reliability through quality control • Data model creation: develop specific data models for identified use cases, transforming input data into formats suitable for analysis and insight generation • Collaboration with dashboarding experts: work closely with dashboarding and data visualization experts to implement effective dashboards and reporting, presenting results in a clear and engaging manner

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Italian language is required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in transformation, data modeling, and data analysis on Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDWH) systems, preferably with skills on platforms like Azure Synapse and Teradata
  • Experience with Databricks or Snowflake considered a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL language and its dialects, related to at least one EDWH system
  • Proficiency in Data Modeling methodologies and principles of Data Visualization
  • Knowledge of PowerBI is considered a plus
  • Good Knowledge of Python
  • Analytical skills: ability to map business requirements to data models and KPIs, ensuring accurate translation and a deep understanding of business needs
  • Knowledge of business processes in at least one of the following areas: insurance, telco, banking, or utility
  • Effective communication: skill in maintaining ongoing dialogue with stakeholders throughout all phases of the project, ensuring continuous alignment and a clear understanding of requirements
