About the role Ventrata is excited to announce we are recruiting for a skilled, US based Sales Manager with a love of tours and attractions to drive new sales growth in Americas. Our product is changing the way tours and tickets are sold across the planet. This rewarding new role will be integral to our growth trajectory. If you're excited about working in a fast-growth, scale-up environment with cutting-edge products that can remove friction and maximize revenue opportunities in the leisure and tourism industries, then this is the role for you. The role is remote and will be based in North America. For consideration, it's expected that you should be based in, or able to work during, the office hours of the target region. Additionally, you will be traveling to your sales territory for regular customer visit at least once a month. Key Information Location: US Duration: Full time Must have: experience from a similar position in ticketing/travel industry. Key Responsibilities: - Sales Targets and Growth: Responsible for delivery of new business. - Delivering against business targets and objectives - Management of the sales process end-to-end in your assigned territory. Identifying opportunities in the market to position the product effectively and enhance the value proposition to your target market - Client Success and Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Ensuring that client success is integrated into the sales process from the first point of contact. - Collaboration with Sales Support Functions: Liaise with marketing, technical sales, lead generation, and sales operations to ensure a unified and strategic sales approach. - Market Analysis and Strategy: Analyse regional market trends and discover new growth opportunities. Communicate closely with marketing and product management to create strategies to drive sales. - Reporting and Forecasting: Provide timely revenue projections to management and deliver a predictable pipeline to drive forecast accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Native English speaker or at least 5 years selling in native English-speaking markets (C1 as a minimum)
- Fluency in Spanish a plus, not a requirement
- Can demonstrate history of achieving quotas of $600k+ selling into enterprise markets
- Must reside within the continental US or Canada
- Willing and able to travel regularly to potential client sites and trade shows
- Current passport and able to travel internationally infrequently
- SaaS-related and industry sales experience preferred
- Direct experience working within attractions in a sales role
- Sales account planning skills and the patience to deliver against the plan
- Display creative and analytical problem-solving skills with an unrelenting passion for achieving revenue targets
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Be a self-starter who is comfortable working remotely and can manage their time, pipeline and direct efforts of an BDR
