Job Description
Paid Advertising Lead (Remote - U.S.)
FourFront
FourFront’s paid advertising business has grown quickly—and so has the complexity of our client work. We manage sophisticated, high-spend accounts across multiple platforms, support demanding clients who care deeply about outcomes, and operate in an environment where strategy, responsiveness, and clarity matter as much as execution. We’re hiring a Paid Advertising Lead to take ownership of this function. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can confidently lead paid advertising strategy, oversee execution across platforms, manage and hold freelancers accountable, and represent FourFront with credibility and calm in front of clients. You will run some accounts directly and serve as the strategic authority across others. If you enjoy fixing messy systems, raising standards, and helping clients understand what’s working, what’s not, and what to do next, this role may be a great fit. What You’ll Do Own Paid Advertising Strategy & Performance - Lead paid advertising strategy across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads, Meta, YouTube, and Spotify - Build campaigns from scratch, take over and optimize existing accounts, and audit/fix inherited issues - Analyze performance data to identify insights, diagnose problems, and recommend strategic changes - Forecast budgets and expected outcomes; manage pacing and efficiency - Stay current on platform changes and emerging opportunities, including new advertising channels Lead Client Communication & Reporting - Serve as the paid advertising expert on client calls - Lead reporting conversations that go beyond numbers to explain why performance changed and what comes next - Confidently answer client questions in real time, using data to support recommendations - Communicate clearly and concisely—without rambling, deflecting, or hiding behind metrics - Build trust with clients who are curious, sophisticated, and sometimes under pressure Oversee Freelancers & Execution Quality - Manage and oversee freelance paid media specialists across platforms - Set clear expectations for responsiveness, quality, and deliverables - Review work, provide feedback, and hold freelancers accountable while maintaining productive relationships - Identify, vet, onboard, and manage new freelancers as needed - Ensure consistency in execution, reporting, and client experience across accounts Collaborate Across Channels & Partners - Work closely with FourFront’s SEO teams to ensure paid advertising efforts align with broader digital strategy and business goals - Partner with internal teams and freelancers to ensure insights, reporting, and initiatives feel connected and not siloed - Use cross-channel data and insights to inform paid strategy and help clients understand how paid advertising supports and amplifies other marketing efforts - Contribute to a cohesive client experience where recommendations across channels reinforce one another Improve Systems & Scale the Function - Help refine processes, templates, and standards for campaign management and reporting - Partner with Project Managers and Analytics to improve visibility into performance - Contribute to the evolution of FourFront’s paid advertising approach and differentiation - Support long-term growth of the paid advertising service, including potential future in-house expansion

- Deep experience managing campaigns in Google Ads and Meta, plus familiarity with other platforms
- Experience overseeing large budgets (six- and seven-figure annual spend)
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking and how platforms connect to GA4 and GTM (you don’t need to build everything yourself, but you understand how it works)
- Proven experience leading client conversations and explaining performance under pressure
- Experience managing freelancers, vendors, or junior practitioners
- A strategic, analytical mindset paired with strong execution
- The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams
- How You Show Up
