Business Developer
E&C Consultants
• Supporting business development: executing E&C’s outbound and inbound growth strategy across European energy market • Research & lead generation: conducting market research and identifying attractive leads and opportunities within defined target markets • Developing customer solutions: creating tailored plans for prospective customers by identifying their needs and presenting relevant services and solutions • Sales presentations: preparing and delivering engaging sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients • Managing pipeline & revenue growth: converting a robust sales pipeline - managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including proposals, negotiations, and deal execution • Relationship management: building and maintaining strong customer relationships to understand customer needs and ensure a high level of service • Market analysis: analyzing trends, opportunities, and competitors within the energy risk management and energy technology space • CRM management: ensuring CRM systems are consistently maintained and always kept up to date • Brand ambassadorship: representing E&C Group at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote our services and build brand awareness
Job Requirements
- Energy industry experience and market knowledge is good to have, but not required
- B2B sales experience: ideally 2-3 years of experience
- Communication & influence: ability to engage credibly with C-level stakeholders and influence decision-making in complex buying environments
- Strategic & autonomous mindset: comfortable operating independently, setting, and managing your priorities
- Language requirements: native or C2-level English is required. Native or C2-level German or French is considered a strong plus
- Travel: willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
