RESPONSIBILITIES - Support the development of leadership's multi year account plans for UL Prospector by providing insight on materials intelligence, supplier marketing solutions, and customer use cases across key industries. - Contribute to the development of strategy for Prospector products and services by sharing customer needs, pain points, industry trends, and feedback with product and service managers. - Maintain an ongoing plan to prioritize a portfolio of accounts, build relationships throughout the year, and identify opportunities for software subscriptions, upgrades, and renewals. - Under moderate guidance, deliver product demonstrations and advise customers on how Prospector integrates into their existing product development, formulation, and sourcing workflows. - Use technical and industry credibility to build strong relationships with buyers, product developers, engineers, and centers of influence in support of global account leadership. - Serve as the primary point of contact for Prospector customers throughout the sales cycle, from discovery through close. - Communicate the value proposition of UL Prospector to customers based on a strong understanding of materials data, supplier discovery, compliance insights, and marketing solutions. - Maintain ongoing customer relationships post sale to support renewals, expansion opportunities, and long term account growth. - Work under the guidance of sales leadership on proposals and closings for assigned software products and services. - Actively identify and pursue opportunities to sell Prospector software solutions and supplier marketing offerings. - Partner with account managers on discovery, opportunity identification, and account planning related to Prospector. - Collaborate with Solution Architects and other technical resources to gather customer requirements and support complex sales opportunities. - Serve as the primary point of contact for Prospector specific products and services, articulating value, managing client interactions, and bringing in additional technical or subject matter experts as needed. - Provide input to account owners on growth opportunities within assigned industries and solution areas. - Build trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and account owners. - Support a smooth handoff to implementation teams or customer success partners following close to ensure strong adoption and customer satisfaction. QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of related sales experience. - Bachelors and/or graduate degree in software engineering or related field. - Relevant technical capabilities related to Chemical Compliance and DaaS solutions - Deep knowledge and experience with ESG space - Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. - Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes. - Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software. The estimated annual OTE (on track earnings) for this position is $159,500 - $190,900 USD which includes a base salary of $94,500 - $125,900 USD and 100% on target performance. Members of the sales team are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Commission Plan on day one and it is uncapped. The annual target incentive for this position is contingent upon performance. Compensation is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country.
