Provide coaching and performance management, and play a key role in hiring and capacity planning. • Monitor team utilization and realization. Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements to strengthen the firm’s efficiency. • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the team, exercising independent professional judgment to manage risk and solve complex client issues.
Job Requirements
- Active CPA license in good standing is required.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, including significant experience as a signing tax preparer.
- Proven track record of supervising, mentoring, and developing accounting and tax professionals.
- Strong working knowledge of both tax compliance and GAAP financial reporting for small and midsize businesses.
- A calm, steady presence under pressure and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-financial business owners.
