Associate Principal Engineer, Salesforce Health Cloud

Nagarro

Role Description We are looking for a Salesforce Health Cloud Solution Architect with the following responsibilities: - Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and converting them into technical designs. - Mapping decisions with requirements and translating them to developers. - Identifying different solutions and narrowing down the best option that meets the client’s requirements. - Owning overall Health Cloud technical strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA/PHI). - Acting as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders, architects, and senior leadership on Health Cloud capabilities and best practices. - Reviewing and approving high-level and low-level technical designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards. - Ensuring adoption of Salesforce best practices, governor limit optimization, performance tuning, and code quality standards. - Guiding teams on Salesforce security model, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and compliance needs. - Identifying project/service stakeholders at an early stage and collaborating with them. - Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and Salesforce technical teams. - Collaborating with Salesforce Architects and Developers to design scalable, best-practice solutions. - Validating solution feasibility against Salesforce platform capabilities and project constraints. - Preparing and maintaining process flows, business process models, functional diagrams, and documentation. - Participating actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Acting as a trusted advisor to users by explaining Salesforce capabilities and solution trade-offs. - Supporting user adoption through training materials, user guides, and release notes. - Analyzing existing Salesforce implementations and recommending process improvements and optimization opportunities. - Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation. - Writing and reviewing design documents explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for developers. - Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc. - Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it. - Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects. - Resolving issues raised during code/review through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause. - Carrying out POCs to ensure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Requirements - Total Experience: 9+ years. - Ability to lead end-to-end Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and delivery for large, enterprise healthcare implementations. - Deep expertise in Health Cloud features, including Patient/Member Profiles, Care Plans, Care Programs, Care Teams, Health Timelines, Assessments, Care Gaps, and Utilization Management. - Strong leadership in translating complex healthcare business requirements into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions. - Ability to drive architectural decisions covering Salesforce core, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, data models, and automation. - Hands-on leadership experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs. - Ability to define and govern integration architecture using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and healthcare standards such as FHIR and HL7. - Strong understanding of EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient/member lifecycle management. - Ability to lead all phases of the delivery lifecycle: requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. - Providing technical governance, conducting design/code reviews, and managing architectural risks and technical debt. - Ability to lead and mentor multi-shore Salesforce teams, including developers, admins, QA, and offshore delivery teams. - Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins. - Ability to collaborate closely with program managers to manage scope, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments. - Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement, including PoCs, adoption of new Salesforce Health Cloud features, and platform enhancements. - Participation in roadmap planning, release strategy, and long-term platform evolution discussions. - Strong experience working in Agile / Scaled Agile environments, supporting sprint planning and release management. - Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills. - Mentoring team members to meet client needs and holding them accountable for high standards of delivery. - Ability to understand and relate technology integration scenarios and apply these learnings in complex troubleshooting scenarios.
