Role Description We’re looking for a temporary Talent & People Coordinator to join our People team and help create an exceptional hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes keeping things organized, moving, and accurate (while also genuinely enjoying working with people). You’ll play a key role in supporting the full recruitment lifecycle, coordinating hiring logistics, maintaining compliance processes, and helping ensure our hiring experience reflects Carnegie Learning’s values every step of the way. The People Team at Carnegie Learning is a highly collaborative team that values curiosity, continuous improvement, and finding smarter ways to support both candidates and hiring teams. This role offers exposure to recruiting operations, compliance, hiring strategy, and People team initiatives, making it a strong opportunity for someone interested in growing their career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources. This is a temporary assignment expected to last through the end of 2026, with the possibility of converting to a full-time opportunity. This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime. Responsibilities - Coordinate candidate interview scheduling, logistics, and communication with candidates and hiring managers - Help create a positive and organized candidate experience throughout the hiring process - Post and maintain job advertisements across internal and external job boards - Process candidate application materials, including initiating offer letters, background checks, and maintaining accurate recruiting data - Support hiring managers throughout the selection process to ensure alignment with recruiting policies and best practices - Assist with OFCCP and EEO compliance efforts by maintaining accurate applicant tracking records and ensuring required documentation is properly collected and retained - Generate routine recruiting reports and dashboards related to applicant flow and hiring metrics - Respond to candidate and hiring manager questions regarding application status and hiring process details - Support additional People team projects and operational initiatives as needed Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a similar field - 0–3+ years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources administration - Possesses strong knowledge of foundational recruitment processes and compliance support (e.g., OFCCP record-keeping) - Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for candidate management, interview scheduling, and maintaining status accuracy - Previous experience with Paycom HRIS, strongly preferred - Working knowledge of US federal and state hiring regulations, including adherence to documentation and record-keeping requirements necessary for OFCCP and EEO compliance - Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, complex logistical tasks (e.g., interview scheduling across multiple stakeholders) with exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail - Proven track record of handling sensitive candidate and team member information with the highest degree of professionalism and accountability - Deadline-oriented with fantastic organization and time-management skills - Meticulous attention to detail Benefits - Flexible work arrangements with our Work From Anywhere Policy - Free access to CL products for employees and their children - Quarterly Wellness Incentives - Monthly employee activities + recognition program - Employee Allyship Groups (EAGs) Company Description Carnegie Learning is a leading provider of K-12 education technology, curriculum, and professional learning solutions.
