Senior People Technology Analyst – Workday
Samsara
• Own and continuously enhance the Workday Benefits and Compensation module, ensuring scalable and efficient configuration • Design, build, test, and deploy Open Enrollment configurations end-to-end • Build, modify, and optimize custom Workday reports • Partner cross-functionally with Benefits, HR, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into Workday solutions • Scope and prioritize Workday releases • Partner with developers and vendors to enhance Workday integrations, troubleshoot issues, and improve benefits data flows • Review proposed system changes to identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization • Triage and configure Workday enhancements or fixes for HCM, Compensation, Payroll, and reporting • Partner with People Operations teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements for programs executed through Workday • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience working for fast-growing, global companies
- 4+ years experience in Workday Benefits configuration
- 2+ years experience configuring core HCM required
- Experience in Workday business process configuration, security, and organization configuration
- Experience in Workday HCM, Benefits, and Core HCM modules in U.S. and International locations
- Experience writing and completing test scenarios for system implementations and enhancements
- Experience leading and configuring Compensation grids for the annual review process
- Strong understanding of Benefits best practices, HR processes, and compliance. Experience documenting and analyzing requirements.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and prioritization
- Ability to prioritize workload and deliver enhancements or fixes on time without supervision. Provide accurate timelines, follow-up, and required documentation for change management.

• Lead the recruitment process across various disciplines, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new hires. • Provide support on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. • Provide administrative support to payroll processing, checking for accuracy in a timely manner. • Providing administrative support in preparing letters and updating systems for variations to an employee during the employment cycle. • Support HR Lead with benchmarking data, trends analysis and reports from the HRIS and recommend competitive compensation. • Ensure adherence to all relevant labour laws, regulations, and company policies across regions globally. • Utilise HR data and analytics to measure program effectiveness and provide reports monthly to HR director. • Support multiple HR projects simultaneously, effectively managing scope, timelines, and resources – this could include but is not limited, the implementation of new HR systems, Global payroll or employee benefits schemes.
