Job Description

Program Manager, Medical Communications

PRECISIONvalue

• Lead the planning and execution of advisory boards, and other HCP engagements • Ensure all programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations • Partner closely with Strategic Account Directors, Scientific Directors, and Program Coordinators to manage workflows, budgets, and logistics across multiple programs • Ownership of timelines, vendor coordination, MLR processes, and financial tracking • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring a seamless experience from planning through execution • Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall program success and client satisfaction

Job Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in program/project management within medical communications, pharma, or healthcare-related industries
  • Demonstrated experience managing live and virtual events, including advisory boards, symposia, or similar engagements
  • Strong experience managing timelines, budgets, and multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (medical, strategy, creative, accounts)
  • Client-facing experience with strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of MLR processes and compliance requirements in pharma
  • Ability to manage vendors, venues, and logistics for complex programs
  • Experience supporting congress planning, symposiums, or large-scale HCP events
  • Familiarity with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Webex) and hybrid event execution
  • Experience with financial tracking tools, forecasting, and revenue management
