Role Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Client Sector Leader with Client Account Management experience to lead the transportation markets across the United States. This role is a key part of Weston’s growth strategy to expand our portfolio of private sector clients. - Existing relationships in high growth transportation industries, including railroads, DOTs, long haul trucking firms, package delivery and rental trucking firms or related experience required. - Responsible for strategic planning, client outreach and branding to capture market share. - Primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with innovative and effective solutions. - Expected to have a proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams that deliver a wide variety of competencies to clients such as construction services, engineering design, environmental planning & permitting, digital solutions, multi-media compliance, site investigation and remediation. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, engineering, planning or related technical field. - 10+ years' experience with industry clients, in a strategic business development position. - Broad understanding of current and emerging environmental, transportation and infrastructure needs of those clients. - Highly collaborative and willing and able to work with many stakeholders. - Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employee-owners, clients, and community leaders. - Growth mindset with 5+ years of demonstrated success in leadership roles, business development and sales. Requirements - Provide strategic direction driving growth in the transportation sector. - Develop and maintain long-term client relationships. - Build sales pipeline and partner with operations to ensure high-quality project delivery. - Grow the capacity of the required teams to deliver exceptional value to clients. - Leverage existing client relationships to drive sales in the transportation sector. - Drive strategic, profitable growth by working with PMs, CAMs/CADs to maintain and develop existing accounts and position for new accounts. - Strong fiscal and administrative acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and performance tracking. - Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and project updates. - Partner with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand and anticipate client needs. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transportation sector. - Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients. - Active in appropriate associations, conferences, networking events to expand company’s presence. - Stay informed about legislative changes, funding opportunities, and competitive landscape. - Mentor CAMs, Project Managers and Seller/Doers. - Lead the sales lifecycle including prospecting, positioning, capture planning, proposal development, interviews and closing. - Develop and implement transportation marketing and branding plans in partnership with Sales & Delivery. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including experience interfacing with senior client representatives and internal leadership. - Strong commitment to quality, safety, and compliance. - Must be highly motivated, a self-starter, and drive results. - Lead internal and external messaging. - Oversee staff recruiting, hiring and mentoring. - Maintain flexibility in a continuously changing and fast-paced environment. - Translate highly technical information for non-technical decision makers.
