Product Manager, Card Issuing – EU, Africa Expansion
ReapGlobal financial infrastructure powered by stablecoins
• Own the end-to-end product workstream for launching Reap's card issuing infrastructure into European and African markets — from regulatory readiness through processor integration to first client live. • Lead the launch of new card schemes in your markets — owning the scheme onboarding process, program setup, and BIN acquisition. • Build market requirements documents covering the full card issuing stack: scheme approvals, processor integration, KYB/KYC, transaction processing, AML monitoring, card provisioning, and shipping. • Project manage the expansion across cross-functional teams — Risk, Compliance, Finance, Treasury, Onboarding, Core Product, and Engineering. You define what needs to be built and drive delivery to timeline across all workstreams. • Own the go-live checklist for each market and scheme — from scheme approval to first test transaction to first client processing. • Once a market launches, own the transition from MVP to full capability — closing feature gaps, enabling deferred capabilities, and responding to early client feedback. • Own the ongoing BAU for your markets — you launched them, you run them. • Work with Core product teams to bring Reap's full product suite to your markets. • Own market-specific risk and compliance issues — from local AML requirements and country restriction policy changes to scheme audit responses and remediation items. • Track and respond to ongoing regulatory changes, scheme rule updates, and processor requirement changes across all schemes operating in each market.
• Work directly with clients to understand their business needs, constraints, and objectives and turn that information into concrete product requirements. • Translate those needs into a clear delivery plan : what will be built, in what order, by whom, and when. • Define and maintain the product roadmap with precise sequencing of features, dependencies, and timelines. • Work closely with Technical Project Managers (TPMs) to align on scope, priorities, handoffs, owners, and delivery expectations. • Break down large ideas into clear, actionable pieces of work that engineers and designers can execute on without ambiguity. • Make prioritization decisions based on business value, user impact, technical feasibility, capacity, and deadlines. • Partner with clients to clarify user flows, edge cases, behavior, and required interactions, ensuring the product is understandable and usable. • Partner with engineering to validate feasibility, adjust scope when needed, communicate tradeoffs, and keep delivery aligned and moving. • Communicate clearly with all stakeholders, keeping everyone aligned on what is coming next, what is being worked on now, and what has changed. • Review what ships, confirm it meets the intended need, gather feedback, and adjust future scope or sequencing accordingly.
