Senior Associate, Proposal Management

• Provide ownership of assigned RFP responses for Space and Intel product lines, exercising independent judgment in interpreting requirements, defining proposal strategy, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance with internal and customer standards. • Lead and moderate proposal kickoff and solutioning sessions, establishing direction, scope, and task assignments for Program Management, Engineering, and other required functions. • Develop and oversee pricing strategy, cost models, and volume narratives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and competitive positioning. • Integrate, evaluate, and synthesize inputs from multiple functional partners into a complete, compliant Proposal Package; ensure necessary leadership reviews and approvals are obtained in accordance with internal policy. • Prepare, certify, and submit Current, Accurate, and Complete proposals requiring Certified Cost and Pricing Data; exercise professional expertise in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company estimating standards. • Represent the proposal function in internal and external audits, providing authoritative responses, supporting documentation, and subject matter insights. • For remote employees, quarterly travel to the San Diego office is required to support onsite team meetings, engagement activities, and collaborative proposal planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree & a maximum of 3 years of work-related work experience; or 2 years post-secondary/associates degree and a maximum of 6 years of work-related experience; or Graduate degree with 0-2 years of work-related experience.
- +1-year experience with Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Practical knowledge of the defense industry and various contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FPIF, FFP, T&M, OTA etc.) either in execution or in the proposal phase.
- Ability to change tasks quickly and work on ad hoc projects on short notice
- Experience with Pricing Software, ProPricer
- General knowledge of Collaboration Software, Confluence.
- Prior Engineering, Finance, or Business Development experience.
