• Work on the development and maintenance of systems in a Mainframe environment; • Participate in the design of technical solutions, ensuring scalability, performance and quality; • Implement complex back-end features following software engineering best practices; • Support scope definition, timelines and deliverables together with the Tech Lead; • Perform technical analysis and gather functional and non-functional requirements; • Carry out evolutionary maintenance and continuous improvements of systems; • Ensure security standards, version control and code quality; • Identify and propose improvements in processes, architecture and application performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT and 5–7 years of experience;
- COBOL (CICS, DB2, Batch) and Mainframe environment;
- DB2 (queries, tuning and optimization);
- JCL and batch routines;
- Security, authentication and version control (Git);
- Requirements elicitation and technical implementation;
- Solution analysis and problem resolution;
- Development best practices and code quality;
- System integration (legacy/APIs) and evolutionary support;
- Nice to have: GCP, DevOps/CI-CD, .NET/SQL Server, Agile methodologies, banking domain experience, architecture/microservices, legacy modernization and English proficiency.

Role Description Dudek is currently seeking a full-time project-based Environmental Technician I to join our team. The successful candidate will help Dudek on a wide variety of projects involving sensitive aquatic resources with a focus on implementation support for: - Aquatic/water quality testing - Analysis - Management - Invasive species control - Invasive species permitting The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other Dudek staff throughout our California offices. This position will entail a mix of field and laboratory data collection and implementation, support with data evaluation and analysis, technical writing assigned portions of documents, informing senior staff of scheduling needs and changes, and task management. Duties and Responsibilities - Conducts field and laboratory efforts, ensuring data is collected per appropriate methods and procedures. - Experience, ability, and aptitude to collect clear and accurate data and field notes. - Ability to organize field or laboratory information into client work products with direction from experienced staff. - Participates in training efforts for data collection and analysis, including active participation in feedback for improvements. - Evaluates and analyzes data with guidance from experienced staff. - Collects or assists with the collection of water quality, environmental toxicology, biology, soil, and air quality data. - Safely and correctly operates and maintains field data collection equipment. - Communicates results of activities in written, oral, and graphical formats. - Maintains inventory and assists with acquisition of laboratory supplies. - Assists with scheduling laboratory and field data collection efforts. - Leads and participates in construction and upkeep of field monitoring tools.
