Program Manager – Fire & Aviation Management Support
ELYON International
• Serve as primary liaison with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) • Administer and manage all contract activities, deliverables, and reporting requirements • Maintain project cost, schedule, and performance data • Meet regularly with government program managers to advise on deliverables and project issues • Facilitate overall strategy development at the project and program levels • Coordinate travel authorizations and ensure compliance with Federal Travel Regulations • Prepare and submit invoices through the Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) • Ensure all deliverables are complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule and within budget • Support the Executive Consultant in coordinating with senior FAM leadership
Job Requirements
- One year of PM experience
- Must have demonstrated ability in effective oral and written communication, planning, leadership, and operational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and minimum of five (5) years of progressive program/project management experience or a combination of an associate degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a related field.
- Federal contracting experience - Understanding of FAR, contract types, and government invoicing processes
- USDA/USFS familiarity - Prior work with USDA agencies strongly preferred
- PMP or equivalent certification - Demonstrates formal project management training
- Strong written and oral communication - Required per SOW; must brief government leadership effectively
- Planning and organizational skills - Managing multiple deliverables and stakeholders simultaneously
- Leadership ability - Coordinating between contractor staff and government personnel
- Proficiency with federal systems - Experience with IPP, SAM.gov, and government collaboration tools
- Security clearance eligibility - Ability to pass USDA background investigation
