Job Description

Project Manager

Hyland

• Manage the full project lifecycle for customer implementation projects, from initiation through closure • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget • Apply established project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid) • Track project progress, milestones, dependencies, and risks • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed • Ensure adherence to delivery standards, best practices, and quality expectations • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders • Lead project meetings, status reviews, and planning sessions • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies in a clear and timely manner • Manage client expectations and day-to-day client interactions • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle • Act as the first level of escalation for project challenges and conflicts • Manage scope changes through formal change control processes • Coordinate cross-functional project resources and oversee day-to-day execution activities • Provide guidance and accountability to project team members • Foster collaboration across internal teams and customer stakeholders • Create and maintain required project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports • Ensure accurate and timely updates in project management and tracking systems • Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects
  • Industry vertical or solution area experience
  • Microsoft Office proficient, including MS Project and Visio
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversight
  • Good ability to provide exceptional follow through and be customer service driven
