Job Description
Field Engineer
CCI Systems
• Provide technical expertise for customer network upgrades and services • Assess Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) hardware • Correct customer network failures and improve network performance • Diagnose and repair plant-related issues • Conduct system sweeps and document findings • Install and optimize HFC equipment • Collaborate with customers and subcontractors for project requirements • Ensure daily field operations and project documentation
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years’ experience as a Coax Splicer
- 5-7 years’ experience in a HFC Sweep/Technician role within the Service Provider space
- Consulting background preferred
- Sweep certification preferred
- DOT Certification & Bucket Truck and Safety Certifications preferred
- Test equipment proficiency, including VIAVI SCU 1800 Sweep Generator and DOCSIS testing experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrates leadership skills
