Role Description The Scrum Master will possess a view of the development and delivery process of the team while focusing on its integration with the ART and the Operational Value Stream, inclusive of all aligned teams and developmental value streams. You will provide the ‘connective tissue' and establish the critical connectivity between product leadership and actual implementation. A Scrum Master will help team members and stakeholders understand their impact on the bigger picture of the value development, establishing the right balance of centralized vs decentralized decision-making. You will also train and coach your teams in Agile ensuring synchronization on operationalizing the team as part of the ART and Solution. - Facilitate successful delivery of business value within an agile framework - Plan, lead, organize, and motivate cross-functional teams - Facilitate and help coordinate Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, iteration planning, daily stand-ups, iteration reviews, demos, and retrospectives) - Partner with the PO and team to ensure ceremonies and ad hoc meetings are valuable, purposeful, efficient, and well organized - Identify barriers to achievement and address their removal with a sense of urgency - Use a variety of techniques to foster innovation and collaboration, ensuring all voices are heard - Foster consensus-based decision making within the team - Collaborate with Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning and keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution - Work with Product Owners to drive development of release and iteration roadmaps - Maintain a healthy and safe team working environment - Pursue results with the team focused on optimizing delivery - Champion the continuous improvement mindset and see failures (personal and team) as opportunities for growth - Use quantitative and qualitative evidence-based data to identify, address problems and evaluate efficacy of solutions - Be curious and ask powerful questions to drive a team culture of continuous learning and relentless improvement - Act as a change agent to drive the acceptance and adoption of agile using a structured approach - Ensure visibility and effective interactions using ceremonies and tools that reach across the organization to facilitate speedy responses to impediments - Connect the team with the right stakeholders as needed to ensure the team continually has everything they need to plan and work effectively - Responsible for understanding and applying risk management discipline in decision making, and responsible for the team's risk management. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience as a Scrum Master with a minimum of 5+ years Agile methodology experience in a large enterprise environment. - Desired certifications: - Certified Scrum Master - SAFe Scrum Master - SAFe PO/PM - Working knowledge in Product Management, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Delivery - General knowledge of department/business lines, and/or System operations, policies, procedures and technologies. - Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies, i.e., Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping - Exceptional organizational and communication skills, creativity, attention to detail (compliance), and negotiation skills to interpret results, develop communications and recommend improvements. - Able to present information within all settings in a credible, confident and influential manner. - Communicates in a concise, direct and purposeful way. - Demonstrable mastery in various competencies of Teaching, Mentoring, Transformation, and Facilitation and embody a commitment to support the growth and development of others. - Coaching: Actualizes potential – in context directed at team - Facilitating: Builds consensus – in context directed at team - Mentoring: Conveys Wisdom – Out of context and usually one on ones with Scrum Masters and others on the train Requirements - Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market. - Some positions may include bonuses or other incentives. - Stefanini takes pride in hiring top talent and developing relationships with our future employees. - Our talent acquisition teams will never make an offer of employment without having a phone conversation with you. - Those face-to-face conversations will involve a description of the job for which you have applied. - We also speak with you about the process including interviews and job offers.
