Senior Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer

• Coaching, mentoring, and developing Scrum Masters across multiple teams to elevate agile maturity and consistency. • Facilitating and coordinating ART-level ceremonies including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Inspect & Adapt, and System Demos. • Assessing team-level agile practices and providing targeted guidance to improve delivery, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Establishing and evolving agile best practices, frameworks, and playbooks for use across the organization. • Identifying and escalating cross-team impediments, dependencies, and risks, driving resolution at the program level. • Partnering with Product Management, leadership, and stakeholders to align team execution with strategic objectives. • Tracking program-level metrics (velocity, predictability, quality) and using data to guide coaching conversations and organizational improvements. • Building a community of practice among Scrum Masters to foster knowledge sharing, peer support, and professional growth. • Serving as the dedicated Scrum Master for one to two scrum teams, facilitating all scrum events and ensuring adherence to agile values and principles. • Planning, managing, and supporting delivery of solutions using agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban. • Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items for assigned teams. • Monitoring team progress and performance, helping teams identify and implement improvements. • Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and proactively removing impediments. • Planning and organizing demos, sprint reviews, and product/system testing activities. • Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a relevant field preferred.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required; SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe RTE, or SAFe SPC certification strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years in a senior, lead, or RTE capacity.
- Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring other Scrum Masters or agile practitioners.
- Deep working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Experience facilitating PI Planning and coordinating across multiple agile teams.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-informed approach to continuous improvement.

Role Description CACI is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Integrated Master Scheduler and Team Lead to support our Submarine Industrial Base Program. In this role, you will lead the development, integration, and execution of complex scheduling activities aligned with program and project requirements across a high-visibility, mission-critical portfolio. You will serve as both a senior scheduling expert and a leader responsible for guiding a team of schedulers and analysts, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and effective communication across all scheduling efforts. You will play a critical role in maintaining and overseeing Integrated Master Schedules, tracking key deliverables, supporting strategic planning efforts, and synchronizing activities across cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Your expertise in scheduling methodologies, data analysis, risk assessments, and schedule governance will directly support operational efficiency, program execution, and informed decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
