Role Description PSG is seeking a highly experienced Power Platform Architect to be part of a growing team in the federal sector. As a Power Platform Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and modernization of enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation through Azure and Power Platform solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient architectures that meet evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and a collaborative mindset to influence modernization efforts across large-scale environments. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be adaptive to the organization's changing needs. This candidate must have experience with building and maintaining highly effective relationships with team members and multiple stakeholders across multiple projects. Work in an agile environment and provide technical knowledge and development to the team throughout all agile ceremonies. As the Power Platform Architect at PSG, you will: - Architect and design Azure-hosted and Microsoft Power Platform applications and services - Lead modernization efforts for legacy applications into the Power Platform ecosystem - Develop applications and services using ASP.NET / C# and .NET Core/Framework - Implement CI/CD pipelines and support Azure DevOps configuration and deployment - Create scalable solutions using SQL Server, Azure, and MVC design patterns - Design and develop databases (SQL, Oracle, NoSQL) - Provide technical leadership in Power Platform adoption including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 - Support service-oriented architecture using Web Services and WCF - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with business goals - Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high-quality deliverables - Influence and direct application modernization strategies across the organization Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and architecture within the past 10 years - Proven experience with ASP.NET / C# and Azure development - Strong background in architecting Azure solutions and CI/CD implementation - Experience with Azure DevOps and Power Platform as a framework - Demonstrated success in migrating legacy systems to Power Platform - Expertise in .NET Core/Framework, SQL Server, and MVC architecture - Proficiency in database design and development (SQL, Oracle, NoSQL) - Familiarity with Web Services, WCF, and Service-Oriented Architecture - Strong attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills - Effective communication and collaboration in team environments - Ability to lead enterprise-level Power Platform adoption - Experience with Dynamics 365 integration - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Knowledge of cloud security and governance best practices Requirements - US Citizenship is required. Role Description The Lead Software Architect is responsible for defining and guiding enterprise and solution architecture strategy for complex, scalable platforms and applications that support core organizational functions.
