Sales Engineer
Vantor
• Assist to Sell/Upsell products/solutions to customers and their technical experts • Assess and influence customers’ requirements • Guide customers on what product or service will best satisfy their needs • Works closely with Business Development to develop new business • Support the Regional Marketing team in Trade Shows or similar events to provide technical support, demonstrations, and booth handling • Provide training to potential and existing customer over the Vantor portfolio of products • Help in the design/development of custom-made products/solutions • Design product solutions and services to for large/complex opportunities • Attend customers visits • Maintain existing, long-term relationships with customers • Provide weekly summary of activities in the region
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Geography or related field
- English and Spanish written and oral proficiency required.
- Portuguese proficiency is preferred.
- Citizenship in Colombia or Brazil
- 2-5 years GIS work experience
- GIS Software skills in one of the following: ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Pro
- Previous geospatial experience
- Willing to travel at least 40% of time

The Team The core function of the Implementation team is to ensure that our customers can seamlessly begin operations on our platform as soon as possible. Beyond the traditional day-to-day responsibilities of project management, the team is responsible for helping our Engineering and Product teams determine customer pain points to ensure quality and speed in the onboarding process. The Role We are seeking a Technical Solutions Lead to be the technical bridge between our customers and our product by leading the post-sales technical journey for our enterprise customer base, as well as supporting scaling technical operations across all segments. You will be a trusted advisor and technical leader to both our customers and our internal teams. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role that requires a sophisticated blend of enterprise architecture, project leadership, and relationship management. Where you will make an impact: - Lead the technical delivery for a diverse portfolio of customers, with a focus on strategic accounts, ensuring architectural alignment and rapid time-to-value. - Partner with the Sales teams during the pre-sales cycle for strategic accounts to conduct technical discovery, assess feasibility, and build tailored implementation plans that accelerate the closing of new business. - Act as the primary technical point of contact for external executive stakeholders, managing complex timelines, nationwide rollouts, and multi-threaded technical troubleshooting. - Develop and refine technical documentation, implementation blueprints, and best practices to standardize delivery across all market segments. - Drive long-term technical health and adoption, ensuring configurations are optimized for the customer’s unique business objectives.
