Role Description The Microsoft Solution Executive accelerates Microsoft-aligned services growth across GES Global Financials by leading executive pursuits, driving modernization strategy, and activating Microsoft co-sell motions inside WWT’s enterprise accounts. Operating as a strategic overlay to WWT Account Directors, this role brings Softchoice’s Microsoft depth into WWT’s engineering-led model, translating the multi-year Microsoft strategy into targeted pipeline, defined programs, and measurable services activation. What you'll do - Execute the Microsoft Enterprise Sales Function - Lead high-impact Microsoft-aligned pursuits across AI Business Solutions, Cloud & AI Platforms, and Security. - Translate Microsoft demand signals and account guidance into actionable pursuit strategies and customer-ready modernization narratives. - Drive disciplined sales execution: pipeline creation, qualification, forecasting precision, and Salesforce accuracy. - Orchestrate cross-functional pursuit teams, ensuring alignment with Delivery, Architecture, PMO, and Microsoft field requirements. - Operationalize the Unified WWT–Softchoice Microsoft Strategy - Embed SFTC/WWT Microsoft priorities inside customer account plans, QBRs, executive briefings, and long-term modernization roadmaps. - Integrate Softchoice’s Microsoft architecture, delivery, and licensing expertise into WWT’s pursuit and service activation motions. - Shape pursuit win themes, value realization frameworks, and modernization business cases that reflect unified WWT–Softchoice capabilities. - Engage and Activate the Microsoft Field Organization - Build trusted, recurring engagement with Microsoft Account Teams, PDMs, and specialist leaders across Security, Azure, Data & AI, and M365. - Lead joint account planning and co-sell motions that convert Microsoft field priorities into qualified opportunities and multi-year programs. - Bring forward Microsoft funding levers, investment signals, and programmatic guidance to strengthen pursuit positioning and accelerate activation. - Accelerate Service Activation Across GES - Influence and activate Microsoft-led service opportunities in West, Central, East, and Global Financials accounts. - Drive activation velocity by shaping clear discovery → design → delivery paths aligned to WWT execution standards. - Support pursuit excellence by coordinating modernization workshops, executive strategy conversations, and integrated pursuit engagements with Account Directors. - Support EA & COCP Strategic Moments - Facilitate C-suite-level EA/COCP discussions as strategic inflection points for AI, cloud, security, and data transformation. - Translate renewal insights into actionable pipeline and defined program opportunities across Workplace, Cloud, Security, and Data. - Position WWT/Softchoice as the integrated modernization partner by unifying licensing guidance, architecture, engineering, and delivery strategy. - Govern Pursuit Excellence at the Execution Layer - Lead pursuit strategy development including opportunity framing, competitive positioning, risk considerations, and high-clarity solution narratives. - Partner with Delivery and Architecture to ensure pursuits reflect engineering-led execution rigor, realistic delivery models, and high-confidence commercial structures. - Maintain accountability for pursuit hygiene, close plans, win-loss insights, and deal-level coaching. - Drive Business Health & Forecasting Discipline - Maintain rigorous pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and executive-ready visibility to Sales, GES leadership, and Microsoft stakeholders. - Provide insights on activation velocity, risk identification, and opportunity progression across assigned territories. - Contribute to unified WWT/SFTC reporting motions, enabling shared revenue visibility and predictable activation outcomes. Qualifications - 10–15 years of experience in enterprise technology sales or solution strategy, with a strong track record driving Microsoft-focused cloud, security, data, and workplace opportunities. - Bachelor’s degree in business or technology; MBA or equivalent leadership training is an advantage. - Proven ability to lead and win multi-million-dollar enterprise pursuits, including shaping strategy, building business cases, and managing complex commercial structures. - Strong understanding of Microsoft’s field organization, co-sell motions, funding programs, and solution priorities - and the ability to turn these into real pipeline. - Experience guiding cross-functional teams across sales, architecture, delivery, and PMO to build unified pursuit strategies and executable programs. - Confident executive communicator who can simplify complex concepts and lead high-impact conversations with C-suite stakeholders. - Solid commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategy, margin modeling, and supporting negotiation for large enterprise deals. - High level of discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, Salesforce accuracy, and driving consistent activation across enterprise accounts. Compensation A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $165,000 annually, plus a 45% target incentives. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
