OSP Project Manager
Zayo Group
• Lead and manage the planning and execution of outside plant break/fix from inception to completion. • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects as required. • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, construction, design) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, contractors) to ensure SLA objectives are met. • Oversee OSP activities, including fiber placement, splicing coordination, make-ready support, restoration, and maintenance. • Ensure work aligns with construction prints, permits, and engineering specifications. • Oversee project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled, and projects are delivered on time and within scope. • Establish, monitor, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of deliverables and supporting workflows in order to measure operational performance, as well as identify and assess areas of opportunity for improved process efficiencies and performance. • Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements, including manpower, equipment, and materials. • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or budget overruns. • Maintain clear and continuous communication with all stakeholders, including clients, senior management, project teams, and vendors.
Job Requirements
- Must have working knowledge of structured cabling and routing
- Must be familiar with email, MS Excel, Word, Google Earth.
- Proven experience managing large-scale OSP projects, including fiber optic and cable installations.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Must be able to read and understand construction documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project conditions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and construction standards in OSP projects.
- Ability to pass MVR check and drive company vehicle in accordance with Fleet Policy.
