• Analyzing blueprints to determine where construction projects will take place • Identifying and mapping location and depth of utilities for fiber optic cable and underground utilities • Documenting interactions, site information, and utilities in organizational software • Communicates with clients, engineers, and management • Using various techniques (electrical, magnetic, GPS, blueprint analysis, and/or radar) to measure utilities • Proactively identify potential problem areas to ensure the integrity of the network and company • Pinpointing the coordinates of lines using GPS or surveying equipment • Responsible for the asset management processes and replenishment of on-site/truck materials • Coordinating shipping and receiving of company and customer materials • Maintaining tools, test sets, and all network equipment • Maintaining network/site security, cleanliness, and following all policies related to company property • Inspecting cabinets, buried cables, construction sites, and other outdoor facilities in various environments, weather conditions, temperatures, exposed to local flora and fauna • Operating in both individual and team environments, both within this team and interacting with other teams, working together to achieve common goals • Other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for design planning, record creation and order fulfillment of Zayo’s products • Works under limited supervision both individually and within a team environment • Responsible for meeting/exceeding daily and weekly performance targets • Reviews orders for technical correctness and clarifies any design related items back to the responsible departments • Provides support to field operations to resolve complex circuit provisioning problems

• Cultivate and foster relationships with Telecom Service Brokers and Sub-agents. • Assist agents throughout the sales process by providing proposals and aiding in customer and prospect management. • Drive Zayo's revenue growth by educating the Sub-Agents community about our complete product portfolio, ensuring an exceptional partner experience. • Utilize knowledge of customers, industry, and services to meet revenue targets. • Monitor, analyze, and report sales performance and activities using Zayo's CRM tool and other reporting systems. • Create accurate and timely sales opportunity forecasts. • Maintain detailed records of agent and customer interactions for sales and forecasting reports. • Collaborate effectively with internal departments to uphold agent and customer satisfaction and achieve revenue goals. • Balance teamwork while independently contributing to the overall success of the role.

• Must have Juniper and/or Cisco router experience (Juniper preferred) • Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Ethernet and IP equipment and associated protocols • Effectively communicate with customers and other communications providers • Document work efforts and troubleshooting status in trouble ticketing system • Interact with customers to provide a high level of customer satisfaction • Work nights and/or weekends as scheduled • Work as part of a team and perform as an individual with minimal supervision • Ensure all customer issues are handled in a timely manner • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

• Responsible for daily management of construction vendors to expedite the construction and splicing of OSP facilities. • Ability and willingness to pull on call duty to respond to network outages and emergency restoration activities. • Manages relationship to jurisdictions and ROW contacts such as cities, counties and railroad. • Oversees timely permitting submittal and on time performance of engineering and construction vendors. • Assists in the planning and implementation of fiber connectivity solutions programs and projects that adhere to approved plans, budgets and schedules. • Provides specialized telecommunications technical expertise. • Coordinates and facilitates with internal and external resources to effect the timely completion of projects. • Oversees, product and/or service of the unit(s) managed may involve highly technical activities or programs; or policies, procedures, controls and services required to support the sound financial, operational and competitive position of the company. • Designs and Implements commercial and carrier fiber networks, infrastructure, backbone and lateral builds.

• Coordinate quote submissions to off-net access vendors for customer-driven requests. • Gather, validate, and organize vendor quote responses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal formatting and documentation standards. • Support both single-site and multi-site quoting efforts, various diversity requests, standard and ad-hoc access configurations. • Validate and refresh vendor quoted services for post-sales requirements • Confirm and update systems with vendor information in preparation for post-sales ordering • Re-engage due to vendor order jeopardy and provide alternate vendor options • Maintain accurate pricing and quoting records in internal systems and tools. • Track and organize vendor responses and performance metrics for pre-sales support and sourcing optimization. • Contribute to the upkeep of shared market intelligence databases, pricing catalogs, and quoting documentation. • Participate in vendor performance assessments including the assessment of pre-sales quoting performance • Follow established quoting workflows and assist in identifying areas of improvement in speed, accuracy, and vendor consistency. • Partner with internal teams including Sales, Sales Engineering, and Carrier Relations to ensure quote accuracy and feasibility. • Participate in projects related to automation, quote formatting improvements, or vendor onboarding documentation. • Support quoting strategies that help the business reduce off-net access costs through informed sourcing. • Assist in analyzing vendor quote trends and flag potential areas of overpricing or cost-saving opportunities.

• Lead and manage the planning and execution of outside plant break/fix from inception to completion. • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects as required. • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, construction, design) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, contractors) to ensure SLA objectives are met. • Oversee OSP activities, including fiber placement, splicing coordination, make-ready support, restoration, and maintenance. • Ensure work aligns with construction prints, permits, and engineering specifications. • Oversee project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled, and projects are delivered on time and within scope. • Establish, monitor, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of deliverables and supporting workflows in order to measure operational performance, as well as identify and assess areas of opportunity for improved process efficiencies and performance. • Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements, including manpower, equipment, and materials. • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or budget overruns. • Maintain clear and continuous communication with all stakeholders, including clients, senior management, project teams, and vendors.

• Support the commercial success of the Metro Dark Fiber portfolio through contributions to pricing, packaging, promotion, and customer targeting strategies • Develop and maintain pricing models, analyze market trends, and evaluate competitive positioning to inform pricing and investment decisions • Partner with Sales and Go-to-Market teams to enable effective selling, including development of sales tools, product collateral, and customer-facing materials • Help define target customer segments, use cases, and value propositions to improve market penetration and win rates • Collaborate with Marketing to support product positioning, messaging, and promotional initiatives • Translate market, customer, and business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlog items • Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations to deliver enhancements that support commercial objectives and customer needs • Evaluate and improve product-related processes, systems, and workflows across the customer lifecycle (e.g., quoting, ordering, delivery, support) • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in product operations and partner with internal teams to implement scalable improvements • Support training and enablement for internal teams (e.g., Sales, Operations) to ensure consistent understanding and effective delivery of product offerings • Define and track key metrics across product performance and customer experience, using data to drive continuous improvement • Build strong relationships across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment and effective execution

• Analyze In-depth analysis on networks to reduce off-net costs and develop plans for optimal use of network infrastructure. • Perform maintenance window grooming of customer and network circuits in support of optimization efforts. • Provision customer service s in multiple voice switching platforms and transport equipment in preparation for migration activity. • Provision, test and turn up network voice trunks with other carriers. • Configure customer services and network links in routers and other data equipment. • Configure, test and turn up new network devices and decommission legacy equipment. • Provide support to field operations, installation vendors and other internal and external groups as needed. • Research and prepare documentation supporting new technologies and products. • In depth understanding of voice features and products including SIP, PRI, CAS, GR303 and business lines. • Strong knowledge of Voice networks including Metaswitch and Nortel DMS switches. • Audit network site database inventory to identify all impacted equipment and facilities for Optimization projects. • Performs other related duties or projects as assigned. • Mentors junior engineers.

• Responsible for design planning, record creation and order fulfillment of Zayo’s products throughout all Market Areas with a primary focus on design of Zayo’s growth products. • General understanding of network QOS, IP routing, Ethernet switching (including 802.11q, 802.11p, 802.3af), and packet and waves tagging mechanisms. • Work with Service Activation and Field Technicians when issues arise during pre-build and customer turn up activities. • Design & Implementation Engineer III designs complex circuits to interface with other carriers or customer solutions. • Reviews orders for technical correctness and clarifies any design related items back to the responsible departments. • Tracks assigned orders to ensure they are being coordinated in a timely manner. • Manage workload to identify critical issues and prioritize those items that must be completed.
