• Install, Turn–up, Test and Provision SONET, WDM and Ethernet equipment in an optical fiber network adhering to engineered design. • Splicing on new construction and restoration for a variety of cable types (Loose Tube, Ribbon, Micro, OPGW, etc). • Active splicing activity in cables with both dark fiber and lit services. • Conduct and validate all testing of network equipment to ensure adherence to all Zayo Fiber procedures and equipment manufacturer’s specifications. • Work with the Network Operations Center for final acceptance and testing of all newly installed equipment and rings. • Tests to include validation of all provisioning, all alarm monitoring to the NMS (Network Management System), network switch protection, etc. • Work with Fiber Optic, SONET, Ethernet and SDH related test equipment including OTDR, PMD, Optical Spectrum Analyzer, BER Test Sets, Sniffers. • Perform site survey of remote locations to ensure quality installation of all racks, equipment power plants, fiber cable, etc. • Report any and all defects to the Operations Manager and /or OSP Project Engineer. • Label and tag all equipment and cabling according to Network Engineering Diagrams. • Perform advanced analysis and troubleshooting of problems / issues while assisting the NOC/customer. • Participate in on-call rotation schedule for nights and weekends. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned. • Perform both hardware and software updates and/or changes to remote site equipment as necessary. • Complete and maintain hard copy and/or electronic records of work completed on various assignments. Including, but not limited to, splice diagrams, patch panels, and test results. • Interface with customers and carriers in support of service delivery and assurance. • Work independently for extended periods of time. • Respond to Customer Troubles on 24-hour basis. • Work closely with the NOC, Sales, Engineering, and customers.

• Perform a variety of functions based on the need of their assigned geographic area. • Operate under some supervision. • Participate in meetings or requiring functions related to projects and processes. • Perform installation and installation commissioning, troubleshooting, and handling of optical transmission systems with guidance from leadership. • Perform OTDR, Ethernet, BER, and SONET acceptance testing. • Complete installation, decommissioning, and troubleshooting of network and customer services. • Provide preliminary site surveys for building entrance construction requirements and equipment space availability. • Responsible for preventable and demand maintenance of the network, critical infrastructure (commonly referred to as facilities), and materials management. • Own understanding, learning, and executing to Zayo’s standards for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safekeeping of the network. • Install, label, scope & clean, and test of fiber optic patch cords. • Sometimes assigned to outside plant network in a given market, including metro and long haul fibers. • Proactively seek and identify potential network problems and report these issues before becoming service affecting events. • This includes action to resolve issues identified during routine preventative maintenance conducted during defined timelines. • Meet documented objectives and goals as business needs define. • Write routine reports, fill out documentation such as site surveys, fiber panels audits, close out packages, power audit reports as well as effectively communicate with customers, management, peers, and contractors, as well as other members of the organization. • Resolve problems in complex situations. • Use deductive reasoning skills to improve the customer experience and network performance. • Inspect outdoor cabinets, buried cable, construction sites, and other facilities in various environments, weather conditions, temperatures, various terrains with potential exposure to various types of vegetation and/or wild life. • Assist other employees with tasks as needed. • Act as a resource for less experienced Field Technicians. • Conduct a routine inspection of company issued vehicle to ensure it is in a safe operating condition. • Follow all personal safety policies and procedures. • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation supporting after-hours activity as required • Flexibility to work occasional long shifts with overnight travel as necessary. • Other duties as assigned.

• Generate sales revenue by actively promoting Zayo products and services to targeted account patches. • Understand our network and proximity to key buildings in a market to drive on and near net sales. • Understand local competitive dynamics and how to win highly competitive deals. • Present proposals and manage customers through a strategic sales process. • Maintain current business relationships with customers, securing existing revenue on long-term commitments and or selling net new accounts. • Apply knowledge of customers, industry, and services to achieve revenue objectives • Work within the Sales team to develop account strategy, solution design, and relationship management on targeted accounts. • Manage high volume of work while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness • Track, analyze and report on sales performance and activities in Salesforce and other reporting tools. • Provide accurate and timely forecasts of sales opportunities. • Develop and maintain records of customer activity for reporting of sales and forecasts. • Provide accurate and timely information to management. • Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and revenue objectives met. • Collaboratively work as a part of a team while concurrently performing as an individual with minimal supervision.

• Supervise a team of Network Construction Managers in support of the assigned area of responsibility for construction demands • Provide support to the Manager of Network Construction for communication and coordination with the NOC, Engineering, Field Operations, and Change Management teams • Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), operational deliverables, and supporting workflows • Maintain knowledge of technologies currently in use and under development • Support management of the assigned area's CAPEX and OPEX budgets • Maintain quality service by understanding, communicating, and enforcing organizational standards • Develop and coach Network Construction Managers, identify training gaps, and support employee career development • Supervise a team that provides network maintenance and restoration support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year • Schedule and prioritize workloads for internal network construction resources and external vendors • Support partnerships with utility companies, municipalities, permitting agencies, and other stakeholders • Management of external vendors necessary to complete projects on time and within budget • Initial construction reviews in accordance with project specifications • Oversight of site construction activities, including schedules, resources, and project execution • Ensuring all jobs are accurately maintained within project tracking systems • Coordination of permitting and licensing activities • Development and review of permit and construction plans • Participation in vendor evaluation and selection processes • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Zayo construction standards, processes, and procedures

• Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies in order to best position Zayo in the marketplace. • Provide guidance and counsel in customer meetings throughout the sales cycle from discovery through close. • Develop strong relationships with customer’s technical influencers and recommenders to be able to effectively resolve all technical objections and drive opportunities to closure. • Build and communicate the customer-specific value proposition with client executives and key partners, articulating Zayo’s contribution to achieving each customer’s desired business outcomes. • Write proposals and support the contracting process by ensuring that all technical and compliance needs are satisfied. • Analyze customer requirements to understand how Zayo products and services can be applied to meet their needs and solve their problems. • Design the right solution options, optimizing the mix of capabilities, resiliency and cost to meet the customer’s needs, applying your expertise of local to global services. • Employ your exceptional cross-functional leadership skills to manage design teams that include members of multiple departments and project manage complex and iterative designs to completion. • Ensure the feasibility of the proposed solution with the operations and product teams. • Document and diagram solutions to clearly outline all technical components. • Participate in the creation and delivery of compelling face-to-face sales presentations that demonstrate technical knowledge of designed solutions and the Zayo products used in the design. • Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more technologies and services. • Educate and advise customers on key technology and industry trends. • Actively participate in bidirectional knowledge sharing with your Zayo and Zayo’s business partner peers. • Help develop the product and technical acumen of your sales counterparts.

• Serve as a key project leader collaborating cross-functionally with Customers, Sales, Sales Leadership at a Project, Market, Product/Services level. • End-to-End Project ownership including but not limited to project kick off meetings with stakeholders, scheduling, scope and budget tracking, project management of internal and external team members. • Orchestrate internal and external customer project communication dependencies, timeline, milestones and progress. • Customer ownership and advocacy; provides ‘Voice of the Customer’ project feedback. • Develop and maintain customer project plans based on contractual requirements and service designs. • Budget ownership including monitoring, forecasting and gap closure planning with Outside Plant when applicable. • Perform and oversee daily operational tasks working cross-functionally. • Manage existing reports and dashboards to provide weekly and quarterly forecasting, metrics and deliverables. • Partner with teams to identify gaps and drive improvements. • Communicate and coordinate plans and strategies with other functional areas including sales, product, engineering, procurement, network operations and field operations. • Known as a go-to-person/trusted advisor that willingly assists other team members. • Ability to manage a high volume of orders and tasks.

• This position is responsible for understanding DWDM technologies by creating innovative solutions to address delivery services to customers. • Plays a key role in building future network design and manages all products and services to deliver leading edge, state of the art solutions on time and at cost. • Foster strong relationships with all internal business units. • Assists in making engineering standards and product specifications more efficient. • Creates targeted plans from simple customer orders to complex network designs. • Assists in future network design based on the overall budgets and helps schedule the completion based on requirements etc. • Works closely with the Operations and Field Services to provide input in timely completion of projects.

• Supervise and coordinate activities for assigned workers. • Execute on operational standards and best practices. • Ensure proper escalation and resolution processes are followed. • Oversee the incident management process and drive ticket management analysis until closure. • Collaborate across multiple functions within the organization to drive resolution of outages. • Mentor and coach technicians at all levels. • Facilitate training sessions and create educational materials for NCC staff. • Communicate updates on network performance and critical incidents. • Manage workflows and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth NCC operations.

• Lead the full model development lifecycle for data science models (ideate, develop, deploy, and maintain) • Lead Data Science-focused projects with responsibility for planning and allocating work for any junior members on the project • Contribute to enterprise data strategy and process improvement efforts with a focus on innovation through data science and machine learning • Mentor junior members of the department to help them gain necessary senior skills to advance their careers • Work in an Agile framework and provide proactive communication and progress to management & stakeholders • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage project status and any blockers • Proactive communication and updates on progress to both management and the organization • Partner with business stakeholders to understand business problems and identify solutions for development backlog • Help develop and deliver a training curriculum for citizen data scientists across the enterprise

• Analyzing blueprints to determine where construction projects will take place • Identifying and mapping location and depth of utilities for fiber optic cable and underground utilities. • Documenting interactions, site information, and utilities in organizational software. • Communicating with clients, engineers, and management. • Using various techniques (electrical, magnetic, GPS, blueprint analysis, and/or radar) to measure utilities. • Proactively identify potential problem areas to ensure the integrity of the network and company. • Pinpointing the coordinates of lines using GPS or surveying equipment. • Responsible for the asset management processes and replenishment of on-site/truck materials. • Coordinating shipping and receiving of company and customer materials. • Maintaining tools, test sets, and all network equipment. • Maintaining network/site security, cleanliness, and following all policies related to company property. • Inspecting cabinets, buried cables, construction sites, and other outdoor facilities in various environments, weather conditions, temperatures, exposed to local flora and fauna. • Operating in both individual and team environments, both within this team and interacting with other teams, working together to achieve common goals. • Other duties as assigned.
