Senior Field Service Engineer
Carrier
• Performs remote diagnostics, preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of building automation control systems • Communicates regularly with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction • Actively participates with service account manager to engineer and estimate solutions • Performs system maintenance in accordance with established service practices and direction including field controllers, servers and workstations and field hardware • Reports issues or changes to management immediately in accordance with company policy and practices • Interfaces with service coordinator, service account manager and service project managers to coordinate activities as required in a professional manner • Performs diagnostics and repairs to complex control systems • Provides training to customers for their specific control systems operations • Completes all job required documentation on-time including time sheets, expense reports, posting of work orders, on-site documentation and project status reports in accordance with company policy as required • The ability to climb ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of Building Automation Controls Experience
- Must maintain valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier
- Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Experience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines
- Field experience and an understanding of the installation and operation of Automated Logic Controls and ability to understand/navigate third party control systems and integrations
- Able to create, download, and troubleshoot complex HVAC system logic using WebCTRL and associated software
- Proficient with all WebCTRL software functions and utilities
- The ability to work alone, manage time effectively and communicate proficiently with customers
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks including wireless technology design and troubleshooting
- Able to read and understand Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical blueprints
- Experience with Microsoft Suite
- Possess computer and networking skills to properly maintain their laptops and mobile devices as well as experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Ethernet and ARC Net communications
- Strong background in the operation and control of mechanical equipment and their control sequences.

Under the general supervision of the Regional FSE Manager, this role will perform duties pertaining to installation, calibration, corrective repair, preventive maintenance and decommissioning of digital radiography equipment and systems to ensure safe and appropriate operations. Supporting other modalities such as Ultrasound is sometimes required. - Executes scheduled preventive maintenance and maintains documentation of all service events, tests, and corrective maintenance performed on Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies. - Consults and collaborates with key stakeholders to prepare for installation and deployment of Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies, including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, gas, pneumatics, software, networking and integration to data/information retention systems. - Performs or coordinates assembly and installation of Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies, including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, software, networking and integration to data/information retention systems. - Prepares periodic maintenance instructions for Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies. - Performs required safety inspection and performance assurance on Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies. - Assesses Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies for compliance with HIPAA storage and security policies. - Completes documentation for entry into the centralized maintenance management system. - Completes and maintains system function, configuration and support documentation. - Ensures compliance with all federal/state/local rules and regulations and all applicable policies and procedures governing Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies. - Directly performs or schedules with Samsung NeuroLogica dealers or outside independent service vendors the performance assessment, preventive maintenance on Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies and documents work performed. - Reviews outcome of repairs, preventive maintenance actions taken by Samsung NeuroLogica dealers and independent service organizations and makes recommendations concerning changes to preventive maintenance schedules, procedures, or documentation. - Analyzes and corrects malfunctions on Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies. - Performs or coordinates remediation action on Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies medical/imaging equipment safety. - Performs investigative evaluation of Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies involved in patient and employee incidents/accidents. Documents findings and reports as required. - Performs or coordinates the decommissioning of Samsung NeuroLogica digital radiography imaging technologies and other medical equipment per established policies. - Assists, as required, with staff in-service education. Cross trains new employees on use of test equipment, department procedure, and medical system support. - Develops and implements a plan for professional growth. - Maintains current with advancing technology, including Samsung NeuroLogica provided training as required to perform duties. - Performs miscellaneous duties as directed in support of the need of the organization.
