Global Payroll Specialist

Booksy

• Manage day-to-day payroll processing activities, ensuring payroll operations move forward accurately and on time. • Support process improvement work across payroll, helping identify gaps, improve workflows, and build more consistent ways of working. • Contribute to payroll-related projects, including systems, interfaces, and broader operational development within the function. • Partner with internal stakeholders across teams, rebuilding trust, improving collaboration, and aligning on the data, processes, and support needed for payroll to run effectively. • Help strengthen the overall payroll function, taking an active role in creating structure, driving improvements, and supporting more scalable global operations.

Job Requirements

  • Practical knowledge of Polish payroll as your core competency, with broader global payroll exposure to support international operations.
  • Understanding of Polish benefit processing and Polish taxation of benefits, as these are core to the role.
  • Experience within a global, tech scale-up would be beneficial, particularly if you can talk us through process improvement projects you’ve worked on.
  • Familiarity with payroll and HR systems such as HiBob, Active Payroll, ADP, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of interfaces, payroll data flows, and reporting from HR systems into payroll processes.
  • C1+ level english communication skills and comfort working within an international organization.
  • A proactive mindset suited to a role where structure is being built, not simply inherited.
