What role you will play in our team The HPC Systems Engineer role has the overall responsibility to work within a small team of highly skilled HPC specialists to provide a performant, reliable, and secure high-performance computing (HPC) environment. The HPC Systems Engineer will be involved in various aspects of designing and engineering our HPC system as well as be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and maintenance activities including, but not limited to the following: general troubleshooting of any issues that may arise, monitoring overall system health, performing system maintenance tasks, and evaluating new hardware/system software. Role Description The Software Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining internal systems and integrations that support Opal Group’s operations and long-term automation initiatives. The primary objective of this role is to develop scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions that streamline business processes, reduce manual work, and improve system reliability across departments. This role operates independently and owns the full development lifecycle from requirements through deployment and ongoing support. Solutions may include Salesforce development, system integrations, internal automation tools, and business-critical workflows used across the organization.
