Role Description As a seasonal Associate Software Engineer, you will work closely with Senior, Lead, or Principal Software Engineers along with Product Owner to design, develop, and maintain software components and products that support H&R Block business applications. - Use tools, languages, coding standards, and best practices to develop new product features and maintain year over year product functionality and enhancements. - Create and execute unit tests and address bugs. - Work closely with the Quality Assurance, User Experience, and other related teams to ensure consistent understanding of requirements and approach. - Design, develop, and maintain software components. - Create and maintain documentation of design approaches. - Create and maintain documentation on internal architecture of the system. - Participate in technical design and code reviews for all new enhancements and maintenance work delivered. - Use business and functional requirements to produce technical specifications and product requirements. - Create, maintain, and execute Unit and Component Testing. - Maintain and improve current knowledge on the latest technologies relevant to the role regarding algorithms, language, design methodology, third-party development tools, application platforms, hardware compatibility, and operating systems. Pay Range The pay range for this position is $30.19 - $45.29/Hr. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.

You'll work closely with product engineers to make sure our products land well. • Running GTM for specific products. You’ll own the GTM strategy and execution for a specific product and take the lead on driving its success, from value prop to co-marketing. • Shipping. A lot. • Work on billable product implementation, enhancement, integration or audit projects • Design, develop, and enhance JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications using C Business Functions (C BSFNs), NER, and UBE development tools • Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions • Customize and maintain JDE modules such as Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, or Procurement based on organizational needs • Develop and optimize Orchestrations, BSSV, and REST integrations with external systems • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies • Participate in full SDLC activities including design reviews, code reviews, testing, and deployment • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, test plans, and deployment instructions • Support JDE upgrades, ESUs, and system patches, ensuring compatibility and stability • Work closely with CNC administrators to ensure smooth environment migrations and performance tuning • Provide ongoing production support and participate in on-call rotation as needed
