Senior Cloud Architect
Alpha Omega
• Help federal customers to modernize systems and operations • Develop and lead a successful Cloud framework • Tackle Federal security requirements while implementing quality-driven software practices • Design, develop, and maintain complex code and immutable DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline architecture • Assess current technology stacks of applications and provide architectural guidance • Implement Proof of Concepts to explore potential solutions to problems • Conduct Architecture walkthroughs for stakeholders • Design and implement automated Dev-Ops architecture and CI/CD pipelines in AWS • Provide thought leadership on cloud platform technology use, design, and implementation • Participate in Daily standups, Refinements, Demos and other ceremonies as part of a dynamic Agile Team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant degree
- Fifteen (15) years of Software Engineering and/or Cloud Services Development experience
- Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and how to apply them in the most practical manner into an overall solution design in AWS Cloud
- Experience in developing DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline in AWS meeting high availability, Performance, security and scalability criteria
- Hands-on experience using compute, networking, storage, and database specific AWS services
- Must have familiarity with AWS PaaS services such as VPC, subnets, DNS, EC2, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, MSSQL, RDS, Cloud Watch, ELK, EKS, and IAM
- Strong understanding of security tools like Sonarqube, Micro Focus Fortify, Nexus Sonatype IQ scan with a focus on automating security and compliance best practices in a DevSecOps CICD pipeline
- Strong knowledge of API design principles and experience in designing solutions as part of a Services-Oriented-Architecture (SOA), Microservices and event driven architectures for high-availability web applications
- Experience working in an Agile (e.g., Scrum, SAFE frameworks etc.) SDLC model using DevOps best practices
- Strong Analytical and Communication skills.

Benefits - Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
