Inventory Control Manager
Human Resources Team
Role Description AI Fire is searching for a remote Inventory Control Manager that will spearhead the transition to a perpetual inventory model across our 53+ districts. This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring an "ownership mindset" to standardize operations across a rapidly expanding, multi-site footprint. You will bridge the gap between field operations and corporate finance to ensure inventory integrity nationwide. What You’ll Do: - Standardize SOPs: Develop and lead company-wide inventory controls and standard operating procedures across all existing and newly acquired districts. - Operational Analysis: Monitor inventory data, variance reports, and shrinkage trends to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. - Finance & Audit Alignment: Partner with Finance to manage valuation, reconciliations, and internal audit readiness for the inventory lifecycle. - District Engagement: Travel to districts to lead cycle counts, conduct spot checks, and provide hands-on training to local teams on inventory best practices. - KPI & Process Improvement: Drive the development of reporting tools and KPIs to optimize stock levels, accuracy, and operational efficiency. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or multi-site operations. - Systems Expertise: Advanced Excel skills and professional experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems. - Implementation Experience: A proven track record of transitioning manual or periodic systems to perpetual inventory models. - Independence & Adaptability: Ability to drive results independently across diverse district environments and manage the complexities of a high-growth business. - Prior Fire & Life Safety inventory experience is a plus but not required. Requirements - Up to 50% travel for ongoing district support. - Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
