Role Description The Product Owner is responsible for executing the strategic direction, continuous improvement, functional and technical roadmap for the product or experience. Product Owners work with cross functional teams to: - Understand how to compete and differentiate in product delivery - Build the right foundations to create and scale differentiated experiences - Plan, manage, and drive applications for success in meeting product experience goals - Manage backlog of product deliverables, and groom according to learnings from qualitative and quantitative sources and in alignment with organizational goals - Consult with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions translating client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications and designs for solutions. As a leader in the organization the Product Owner III will also be responsible for leadership activities inclusive but not limited to the following: - Leading or co-leading governance committees tied to a product portfolio - Advising leadership on the technology portfolio within and sometimes outside of a product area of focus - Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and directions, business systems and requirements to conduct independent analyses and reviews of technical and business requirements. - Understanding the long-term business objectives and proposing technology strategies to meet those objectives by introducing innovation through technology - Delegate work to other product team resources as appropriate.
