Your role as a Compliance Manager: - Ensure compliance with key government agencies, including the FMC and TSA (ISCMS & IATA). - Oversee AES export activities. - Maintain a thorough understanding of U.S. and international laws governing trade. - Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs officers, and customs brokers. - Navigate the complexities of logistics and trade compliance. - Maintain adherence to corporate policies. - Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers. Qualifications - 5+ years overall experience with import/export functions. - Extensive knowledge of import regulations, specifically related to manufacturing and distribution. - Ability to interpret government regulations and understand technical language. - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. - Experience with US Government Export systems and other Government Agency platforms such as USDA IAC and CTPAT. - Knowledge of CBP ACE Portal, Veroot, CTPAT, CPB Platform, and OGA Platforms is a plus. - Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). - Knowledge of FMC Federal Maritime Regulation and the Shipping Act of 1984, NVOCC, and FNVOCC operations. Requirements - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. - Capable of exercising independent judgment when assessing procedural weaknesses. - Experience in developing work procedures and written instructions. - Able to implement new programs with little direction. - Validated skills in running multiple concurrent issues and prioritizing workloads. - Project management skills. - Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet strict deadlines. - Must be able to show original documentation to prove US Persons status. - Knowledge of IATA regulations and governing entities such as ICAO. - Understanding of sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR). Role Description The Global Logistics Team Lead - US partners with the Global Logistics management to lead execution and strategy across the U.S. and Canada carrier network. This position leads the U.S. Logistics team to continuously improve the carrier portfolio by developing and improving delivery solutions for outbound direct-to-consumer delivery solutions in the US and Canada market.
