Radiology Scheduling Coordinator

Role Description The Radiology Scheduling Coordinator provides patient appointment scheduling and customer service functions including: - Scheduling appointments - Patient reception - Appointment check-in - Insurance verification for patients in the Radiology Department This position is eligible to work remotely following onsite training in Saint Paul, MN. Employees must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work free from interruptions. Work Schedule: - Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. - Initial onsite training in Saint Paul, MN will be 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. - Length of training time is different for every person. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Two years of experience in direct customer/patient service, or one year of experience internally within the Regions Radiology Department. - Reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work free from interruptions. - If you do not currently reside in but plan to move to one of these states, please indicate your intention, your move timeline, and which state in your application. Requirements - Two years of post-secondary education in healthcare or business administration. - Healthcare scheduling experience. - Epic electronic medical record system experience.
