Role Description Seeking Venture Fellows to assist with key aspects of the investment process, including: - Deal sourcing - Due diligence - Portfolio support Fellows will: - Conduct in-depth market research and deliver actionable insights through presentations and reports. - Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across health, wellness, and biotech infrastructure. - Conduct rigorous diligence on prospective and follow-on investments, evaluating financials, key metrics, and growth opportunities. - Explore targeted sectors, develop strategic insights, and create detailed market maps to inform investment strategy. - Build authentic relationships with entrepreneurs and the broader healthcare ecosystem to source deals, identify trends, and generate new opportunities. - Support our portfolio companies through various ad hoc projects. Qualifications - Currently pursuing (or recently graduated with) an MBA, MD, MPH, or PhD with a strong interest in healthcare and technology. - Can devote 10-15 hours per week to work with us. - 2-6 years of experience in startups, VC/PE, investment banking, consulting, health system, health plan, etc. - Demonstrated passion for startups, venture capital, and emerging technologies. - Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial modeling, and company valuation. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies • Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner • Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education • In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program • Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated • Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care • Support compliance with all state and federal regulations • Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
