Role Description SAIC is currently seeking creative, dedicated, motivated, career and customer-oriented professionals for the role of a Senior Enterprise Architect, to fulfill their career goals and objectives while delivering mission excellence on programs of national importance with our large Enterprise Application Support Program. The selected candidate will provide overall support for architecting and building solutions for Mainframe Modernization including Migration and Transformation of Legacy Applications to modern Infrastructure/Architecture including the Cloud. The selected candidate will be a Trusted Technical Advisor to the SAIC Program Manager (PM) and the supported team to be a thought leader with expertise in technical areas, specializing in Enterprise Architecture with specialization in Open Database technologies, Cloud and associated platforms and tools. Qualifications - Experience in Mainframe Modernization and Cloud Migration. - Expertise in Enterprise Architecture and Open Database technologies. - Strong understanding of Agile/SDLC methodologies. Requirements - Serves as a trusted technical advisor to the Program Manager and the supported team. - Provide technical guidance and advice regarding IT systems in general. - Implement governance and control as well as standards across the portfolio. - Tracking, monitoring, and updating status on technology (e.g., cloud, AI/ML) services and architecture. - Provide Technical guidance and Expert advice in areas of Mainframe Modernization, including Migration to Cloud. - Provide Advisory support on IT applications architecture with the latest technologies (e.g., Cloud, AI/ML, GenAI, LLM). - Engage in defining, developing, and keeping current Agile/SDLC engineering and architecture artifacts and standards. - Provide oversight of Agile/SDLC reviews, including change management to ensure compliance with standards and required guidance. - Recommend solutions for unusually complex technical problems. - Maintain a library of PMO documents and build a repository of project templates. - Support portfolio, program, project-level business process analysis, mapping, improvements, reporting, market research, and internal outreach and communications. - Translate business processes into workflows and dashboards, where needed. - Design and implement effective database structures and models to store, retrieve, and analyze data. - Develop, construct, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines. - Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data consistency and quality. - Integrate data from different sources, ensuring consistency, reliability, and accuracy. - Develop data APIs and automation scripts to streamline data integration and workflows. - Monitor and optimize database and data processing system performance. - Conduct performance tuning and troubleshoot data issues. - Provide Mentoring and Training Support to Junior or Mid-level Application Developers and Database Engineers, as needed. Role Description The Customer Success Senior Platform Architect is an advisory role, responsible for helping our customers establish a technical foundation in the ServiceNow Platform and design solutions that deliver outcomes. The Senior Platform Architect ensures customers use leading practices around instance strategy, technical governance, core data, integrations and the health of the platform. Qualifications - Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. - 8+ years progressive experience as part of a professional services (SaaS) organization; or equivalent education/experience. - Management consulting experience. - Success driving complex issues through analysis and resolution. - Industry domain expertise. - Large program experience leading architecture and design. - Enterprise architecture experience. - Cloud application technology experience. - Right to work in country. - Fluent in Danish and English. Responsibilities - Modular Architecture & MBSE: Translate complex Army requirements into modular solutions using SysML. Qualifications Required Qualifications - BS/MS in Systems, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent technical industry experience). - 10+ years in Systems Engineering or Data Architecture with a focus on Architecture Patterns (Microservices, SOA, REST). - Ability to lead the development of innovative approaches in modernizing systems engineering practices. - Deep familiarity with ISO/IEC 15288 and DoD 5000 series acquisition policies. - Proven ability to integrate requirements management with architectural models to ensure end-to-end traceability. - Experience advising data rights strategies to ensure long-term competitive sourcing and avoid vendor lock-in. - Knowledge of conformance tools and verification suites to ensure modularity throughout the Systems Engineering V-model. - Experience with MBSE tools (e.g., No Magic Cameo, IBM Rational Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect). Desirable Qualifications - Experience authoring or contributing to capability briefs or white papers on Digital Continuity and Mission Engineering. - Experience with relevant hardware design and implementation (e.g., FPGA design, VHDL) and system simulation tools (e.g., Ansys ModelCenter, STK, or MATLAB/Simulink) to support Digital Engineering and MOSA compliance. - Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with SOSA, CMOSS or FACE frameworks within a DoD environment program. - INCOSE CSEP/ESEP or DAWIA Level III Certification in Systems Engineering. - Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to manage product backlogs for complex system designs. - Active Secret. Target salary range: $123,000 - $211,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
