• You take full responsibility for your assigned areas (e.g., receivables management, accounts receivable, monthly VAT filings) • You independently prepare year-end accounting entries and reconciliations, significantly contributing to the quality of our financial reporting • Accounts Payable: You handle the posting and reconciliations of vendor invoices and employee travel expense reports • Accounts Receivable: You have full ownership of our accounts receivable — from invoicing in Chargebee through managing open items in NetSuite to direct customer communication regarding invoice enquiries and dunning • You perform bank postings and reconciliations • You actively drive the development of processes and standards within the accounting function • You proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders about results, risks, and questions related to product billing

Job Requirements

  • You hold a degree with a focus on accounting/finance or a commercial qualification (e.g., tax clerk or industrial clerk with an additional qualification as a certified balance sheet accountant)
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in (group) accounting, auditing, or tax consulting
  • You possess very good accounting knowledge (in particular under HGB/German GAAP) as well as solid expertise in accounting, ERP/ledger systems (ideally Oracle NetSuite) and Excel
  • You work accurately, in a structured and conscientious manner, and demonstrate perseverance, a strong sense of responsibility, and effective time and self-management
  • You communicate clearly and can effectively pass on your knowledge to others
  • You have a strong hands-on mentality and a positive approach to change and shifting requirements in a dynamic environment
  • You have very good German language skills (our corporate language)
