Social Content Manager

Role Description As a Social Content Manager on the Strategy team, you will be the day-to-day driver behind a high-profile client’s community and content operations across Instagram, Discord, Reddit, and Telegram. This dynamic, platform-focused role involves: - Managing active community channels - Producing and publishing content at scale - Adapting client assets to fit the unique expectations of each platform You will collaborate closely with internal strategists and the client to maintain a consistent publishing cadence, uphold brand and compliance standards, and execute against a defined monthly deliverable plan. You are organized and efficient, comfortable managing multiple workstreams across community management and content production. This is a remote role open to candidates based in Canada. You are comfortable working independently while collaborating with a distributed team, and confident managing multiple deliverables in a fast-paced virtual environment. Qualifications - 3–5 years of social media experience, including hands-on experience managing brand or client presence on platforms such as Instagram, Discord, Reddit, or Telegram - Interest in sports and familiarity with sports culture, fan communities, or willingness to quickly build knowledge in this space - Familiarity with community platform dynamics, including Discord server structures and events, Reddit engagement practices, and Telegram publishing approaches - Experience managing content across multiple platforms while maintaining quality and consistency - Comfortable using tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar for quick-turn content creation - Experience with social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Khoros - Strong writing skills and ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms - Detail-oriented and brand-aware, with an understanding of visual guidelines and content best practices - Organized and able to manage multiple deliverables in a collaborative, fast-moving remote environment - Clear and effective communication in English, both written and verbal - Genuine interest in online communities and digital culture, comfortable engaging in spaces where tone, timing, and authenticity are important - A portfolio or examples of past content creation work is considered an asset Requirements - Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check as part of the pre-employment screening process - Ability to utilize a desktop computer or laptop that meets minimum system requirements for efficiency in remote work environments - Access to high-speed internet, with a minimum speed of 30 mb/s, to support work activities and online collaboration - Adequate headset/mic and webcam for clear and effective communication in virtual meetings and presentations - Fluency in English, with the ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively - Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset Benefits - Salary range: $60K-$70K CAN, based on relevant experience, knowledge, and skills - Range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits available to all permanent employees
