Job Description

Sales Manager, Automotive

Aufinity Group | España

• End-to-end sales responsibility: You own the entire sales process, from initial cold outreach to the signed contract. No hand-offs — full ownership • Closing strength: You drive negotiations to completion with the necessary persistence and reliability and don’t give up when things get tough • Proactive new business acquisition: You use whichever channels work—field sales, phone, or in-person visits. You decide what moves the deal forward • On-site presence: Whether at trade shows or directly at the dealership, personal contact is your strongest tool for building trust and closing deals • Needs-based consulting: You understand daily dealership operations, identify the needs of your conversation partners, and clearly show them the benefits • Team player with initiative: When you need support, you obtain it—from product, marketing, or elsewhere. You remove obstacles instead of being stopped by them

Job Requirements

  • Sales experience: At least two years selling complex or consultative products, ideally in automotive retail, tooling and operating equipment sales, commercial vehicles, fleet management, or similar
  • Proven track record building your own customer base: You have independently acquired new customers and actively developed deals, not just processed leads from headquarters
  • Drive and self-motivation: You look for solutions instead of excuses and consistently pursue closures
  • Meticulous documentation: You record contacts and appointments conscientiously, keep an overview, and ensure follow-ups are not missed
  • Strong interpersonal judgment: You build trust through genuine listening, not memorized phrases
  • Clear communication: You speak the way dealership decision-makers think — direct, reliable, and at eye level

Benefits

  • Excellence & ownership: Take full responsibility for your areas with a focus on quality, impact, and sustainable results
  • Mobility & flexibility: A company car (also available for private use) for your on-site appointments, workation options, plus subsidies for lunch, internet and a Deutschlandticket so you can focus on what matters
  • Purpose & scope to shape: Bring your ideas, shape your area of responsibility and help shape the future and long-term success of our company
  • Openness and parity: We practice open communication, direct exchange and collaboration at all levels
  • Continuous growth: Through further training, cross-functional learning formats or individual mentoring — you keep moving professionally and personally
  • Equal opportunity: Not a buzzword but our stance — we welcome applications regardless of background, identity, sexual orientation or disability. For equal qualification, applications from people with severe disabilities will be given special consideration
