Coupa Support Consultant

Role Description We are looking for a single blended resource who can cover both functional support and technical integration responsibilities for Coupa in a pharma/life sciences environment. The consultant will serve as the day-to-day Coupa SME, handling end-user tickets, configuration changes, and Coupa–NetSuite integration monitoring and troubleshooting. Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM PST | Monday – Friday (20 hrs/week) Note: Fixed morning window — candidates must be available during these hours. Functional Responsibilities: - Triage and resolve Coupa support tickets across P2P — Requisitions, POs, Invoicing, and Supplier Management - Manage Coupa configuration changes: approval chains, content groups, commodity codes, and supplier enablement - Liaise with the client's Finance and Procurement teams on process gaps and change requests - Participate in Coupa release reviews and assess downstream configuration impact - Document configurations, runbooks, and issue resolution logs - Coordinate with dotSolved's NetSuite functional team on cross-system process alignment Technical / Integration Responsibilities: - Monitor and troubleshoot the Coupa–NetSuite integration (native connector or iPaaS: Dell Boomi / Celigo / MuleSoft) - Diagnose and resolve sync errors — PO transmission failures, invoice posting errors, vendor/item master mismatches - Support NetSuite-side field mapping — subsidiaries, GL accounts, approval workflows, vendor records - Perform Coupa Open Buy / Punchout / cXML configuration and issue resolution - Assist in Coupa API-level investigations (REST API, event broker logs) - Maintain integration documentation, field mapping specs, and error resolution logs Qualifications - 4–6 years of Coupa experience covering both functional configuration and technical/integration work - Hands-on experience with Coupa–NetSuite integration (native connector or iPaaS-based) - Proficiency in P2P processes in pharma, biotech, or life sciences environments - Working knowledge of REST API concepts, JSON payloads, and integration log analysis - NetSuite fundamentals: saved searches, GL configuration, vendor/subsidiary setup - Experience with Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) and cXML/EDI - Strong client-facing communication and ability to operate independently - Must be available 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM PST, Monday – Friday Requirements - Experience with Dell Boomi, Celigo, or MuleSoft (Nice to Have) - Basic SuiteScript familiarity (Nice to Have) - Cross Country Consulting background: strong advantage (Nice to Have)
