Title: Sr. Business Systems Analyst Location: CT-Stamford Category Business Analyst (BA) Req # HAR-56696bca-5bd4-44de-a83a-66a933458c9f Remote Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support a large insurance company spanning SAP, SaaS, and homegrown systems. This role requires a highly articulate, technically savvy BSA who can confidently engage with accountants and business stakeholders, translate needs into clear technical requirements, and proactively drive clarity and prioritization. The ideal candidate is senior, decisive, comfortable speaking up, and focused on moving work forward. This is a remote, 6 month contract-to-hire with a pay range of $60-70/hr and salary conversion up to 150k. Day-to-Day: • Act as the bridge between business and technology, speaking both fluently • Learn ~22 systems in the first 30 days through heavy documentation and hands‑on training • Work closely with business and technical partners to clarify requirements and remove blockers • Create process flows, rapid prototypes, and visuals (Visio/whiteboarding) to articulate ideas • Develop and maintain UAT scripts and test documentation • Identify root causes when work stalls (unclear requirements, misalignment, missed conversations) • Handle high request volume (10+ per day) and move quickly via calls and real‑time collaboration • Participate in daily standups and backlog discussions with Product and Engineering We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Technical BA • Comfortable working directly with accountants and finance stakeholders • Strong experience across various applications (SAP ECC on‑prem, SaaS platforms, and homegrown applications) • Ability to define requirements, explain why they matter, and translate them into technical language for developers • Experience creating UAT test scripts, business test plans, and improving testing processes • Strong SQL experience • Ability to prioritize backlog items, articulate tradeoffs, and explain why a request is or isn’t a priority • Experience creating process flows, rapid prototypes, and visuals • Proven ability to help define scope from a technical perspective • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, confident, proactive communicator Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Prior development experience (helps translate better to developers) • Experience proposing best practices for code management and SDLC • Background working in fast‑moving, request‑heavy environments Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
