This position is ideal for someone who has worked in a kitchen company environment and understands not only design but also pricing, quoting, and the end‑to‑end process of kitchen project execution. This is not a role for someone who only knows the 2020 Design Flex software—we need someone with hands‑on project and estimating expertise. - Create detailed and accurate kitchen designs using 2020 Design Flex software. - Prepare professional, precise quotes and estimates for clients. - Price out materials, cabinetry, hardware, and related project components. - Collaborate with clients, sales staff, and production to ensure designs align with project budgets and timelines. - Understand how kitchen projects are assembled from concept through completion. - Revise drawings and estimates based on client feedback or project changes. - Maintain organized project documentation and design files. Qualifications - At least 2 years of kitchen design and estimating experience working with USA based customers. - Prior work experience with a kitchen company working with USA based customers. - Experience designing residential kitchen projects. - Professional experience preparing client quotes, estimates, and pricing breakdowns for kitchen projects. - Strong proficiency with 2020 Design (Flex or Live). - Solid understanding of kitchen construction, cabinetry, and the workflow from design to installation. - English proficiency at C1 Advanced level (verbal and written). - Availability to work during US Eastern Time business hours. - Experience in client-facing interactions for kitchen design projects. - Experience coordinating with internal sales and production teams to align designs with budgets and timelines. - A portfolio of previous work in kitchen design and estimating. • Work with multi-disciplined engineering and design project teams in developing structural physical layout drawings in a 3-D model • Design structural supports and foundations, and investigating, trouble-shooting, and solving a wide variety of structural design issues • Utilize 3D modeling software tools to generate structural design schematics • Participate in the coordination of detailed design phases for all aspects of an integrated structural design model • Provide support to other designers and project team members in order to ensure a complete and timely design • Independently and as a member of a design team, plan and execute structural design deliverables • Accompany and assist senior designers and engineers in field walkdowns and data gathering at client facilities • Provide guidance to others in the use of drafting tools, and also as a mentor in the development of less experienced drafters and designers
