Role Description BBE is seeking an experienced Manager, Freight Forwarding, to lead our freight forwarding team and drive efficiency. This position will lead the daily operations of BBE’s freight forwarding business and is accountable for the team's performance, development, and engagement. This role connects BBE’s supply chain network of shippers, carriers, warehouses, and suppliers through reliable, well-executed transportation and logistics solutions. - Responsible for achieving financial targets for each branch (Domestic and International). - Drive revenue growth, manage costs and margins, and ensure the branch operates within approved budgets while delivering high-quality service to clients. - Preferred location is Edmonton, but open to qualified candidates across Canada. Qualifications - Post-secondary diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and significant freight forwarding or logistics experience. - CIFFA Advanced Certificate is preferred. - 3+ years of supervisory/management experience is preferred. - Exercise sound judgement and emotional awareness when addressing complex people matters. - Knowledge of supply chain challenges in Northern/Remote locations in Canada is considered an asset. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. - Exceptional internal and external customer service. - Excellent team player, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Role Description Reporting to the Social Performance Manager, the Indigenous and Regulatory Partnerships Coordinator supports the delivery of Skeena’s engagement, regulatory, and social performance commitments across the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project. The role helps implement consistent, culturally informed, and compliance‑aligned engagement with the Tahltan Nation, Indigenous Governments and Organizations, Regulators, and Communities of Interest. Working collaboratively with teams across the company, the Coordinator strengthens relationships, supports transparent communication, and contributes to effective social performance practices that advance Skeena’s project and corporate objectives. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) - Engagement Strategy & Planning - Lead the development and implementation of Skeena’s engagement strategies, plans, and schedules to support project milestones and regulatory pathways. - Incorporate community, technical, and leadership perspectives into engagement planning using culturally grounded practices. - Coordinate internally with technical and project teams to ensure engagement plans are feasible and integrated into broader company workflows. - Prepare general engagement materials (briefing notes, summaries, decks) to support staff in meetings, workshops, and regulatory engagement activities. - Lead the planning, logistics, and delivery of Skeena’s engagement activities, including workshops, open houses, and online outreach. - Community & Indigenous Partnerships - Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with the Tahltan Nation, Indigenous Governments, and Communities of Interest. - Prepare technical briefing materials and support Skeena’s technical discussions with Tahltan leadership and regulators. - Maintain systems and tools that support Skeena’s collaborative work with Indigenous partners. - Implement Indigenous and Regulatory Partnerships integration across Skeena. - Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Skeena project managers, consultants, agencies, and other interested parties. - Communications - Oversee ECRP website refresh in collaboration with the Communications team. - Support development of quarterly newsletters in collaboration with the Communications team. - Feedback, Tracking & Reporting - Lead the implementation of Skeena’s Community Feedback Protocol. - Support the tracking and execution of Skeena’s regulatory engagement obligations. - Complete Isometrix data entry and reporting to maintain accurate records. - Track and report on Skeena’s external correspondence and compliance with regulatory engagement requirements. - Other Duties - All other related and general administrative duties as required.
